it has been hell getting text quite a few times a week for weeks now from 87771.
l cant use my phone  because l cant afford to top it up just to lose it to this number.
There must be something that can be done.

had 2 text from "LN Quiz" & "87771" today starting "freemsg1/2>" saying i'd been chosen to enter a £25k competition. googled the number which led me to reply "STOP ALL" and lodge a complaint with http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk
hope these scammers get the max £250,000 fine!

I have also been caught by these con men and lost around £20.  I am going to complain and see if I can get a refund.  This sort of activity is immoral and disgraceful.

I recieved two texts from 87771 but have not rdesponded to them. No money has been taken from my account yet.

Just received two through today (am on T-Mobile), text content was:

type STOP ( in capitals) and you should get a tet back from that number telling you it has been processed.

This company is sending me messages and has cost me £36 illegally

The only way they can charge you is if you've sent a text back to their number usually with some kind of code word. It doesnt matter whether or not you've opened the text or not.

To get them to stop, just text STOP

I got loads of emails from this number it said just to fill out you name and number to stop it so i did now i have £2 left from £7. anyway i can get the money back?

I have no idea how this company got my phone number but I have been trying for over a month to get these text messages stopped. No matter how many times I text STOP back to them they still continue. They have cleaned out my PAYG credit so I many times I have no choice but to change my number, this is theft and it should be stopped.

this number texts me with no option to cancel subscription. i get charged £2 per text and i want to cancel. It shouldn't be allowed that companies can text you and charge you without your agreement!

I replied to a poll on ITV and as a result I keep getting text messages from this number and it has now cost me £10 . I never asked for these messages its a total scam. BEWARE
