I don't know where these people get this number but when I block it they just call from another number

I changed cell phone company and got a new number in mid December and got a call today.  They couldn't have gotten my number from a "past subscription".

They are probably calling from outside of the country and don't think they have to follow USA laws.

THIS IS FROM A NEWSPAPER SUBSCRIPTION COMPANY...I GET AT LEAST 3 CALLS A DAY...I'VE TOLD THEM UMPTEEN TIMES TO STOP CALLING SINCE I ALREADY SUBSCRIBE TO A NEWSPAPER...TODAY MAKES UMPTEEN AND ONE TIMES!  ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THE SAD THING IS THEY KEEP CALLING ON MY CELL PHONE WHICH IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  DOES ANYONE REALLY READ THESE LISTS OR ARE WE JUST PROVIDING OUR NUMBERS FOR THE MASSES?

I just answer it and let my phone sit on the table. They stopped calling.

I stopped taking your joke newspaper in May, 2010.  8 months have gone by and I don't miss my cat box liner.  I've moved on.  Why can't you find some fool to buy you paper? I don't need to waste $300 a year for a paper that's more ads then substance. Your delivery people can't get the paper to my front door every single time it's delivered.  On rainy days my paper was soaked too many times.  Get a life. Remove me from your robotic calls daily and on weekends? How would you like to be called early Sunday morning?

they are calling you about a newspaper subscription just call the number back and it will give you the option to remove your number.  said it takes a few days to remove.

I get a call at least once a day from this number for the past month!

get google voice, you can block unwanted numbers from ringing your phone.

i also get the call very often. very very annoying. if you can let your phone block it, that's good. otherwise, you can create a "Junk" contact for it so that next time when they call you, you won't pick it up.

Have received calls almost daily for many months from this and other numbers that display "800 Service" on caller ID.  I never answer; callers never leave messages.  I'm afraid that if I answer, the barrage will only increase.  Any suggestions will be appreciated

Yes annoying, probably phone spam. Use the "Mr. Number" app - it can block ulimited numbers.

Calls continue from same number (see 4th entry above).  This time I answered call and immediately leaned on one of the number buttons until the caller disconnected.  Let's see if it does anything.  I don't have high hopes.

They called at 2:30 PM on 1/31/11.
I sent it to voicemail and they did not leave a message.

They called me twice already this morning, so I decided to Call em back...press 1....after the beep enter your 10 digit number....now you are on their no call list.  Simple as that.

This number has been calling me for at least three weeks, every day (including Saturdays and Sundays), once or twice a day.  The number pops up on my cell, I NEVER answer or return the call, and the caller never leaves a message.  I am a former San Diego UT subscriber, and I know that they are begging for new subscriptions, so, hmmm, I'm wondering.

They just keep calling and calling.
