    Definitely not a scam.
I feel sorry for all of you who think you have been scammed. Nothing about the business is a scam. It is all because when you signed up, you either 1) didn't read everything or 2) (for product orders) saw that there was a way to get Free Shipping and didn't bother to read any of the three following confirmation screens telling you exactly what you were signing up for. Yes, the products and services are not for everyone, but they are extremely desirable for many, many people.
The only thing that I can agree with is that the "descriptor" on the credit card statement is not very clear. Otherwise, I would tend to agree that most people on here slandering these companies simply regret their decision to purchase.
Here's a good first step: call them directly. If you dispute the charge, it will hold your money up for up to 90 days and then they will likely win the battle and the charge will come back on your statement. And, once you initiate the dispute, you will not get any customer service from the company until it is resolved, because the bank is the only point of contact from that point forward.
The companies housed under these numbers have made many, many people very rich by following the advice they print in their publications.
And, for the SEC "investigating" Stansberry -- read again; that was like 2003. And if you really dig and read about it all, and are a sensible person, you will understand that the reason behind that investigation was so small and "silly", it shouldn't even be taken into consideration when reviewing the reputation of Stansberry & Associates. Basically, they printed a date on a publication that came and went, and the "action" did not happen. Followers panicked and pulled out, possibly losing money. Two weeks later, the action took place and those who waited became rich.

Card was charged $49 on 28 August 2013 from PSV Agora Financial. But I've not subscribed to any of their products nor given them my card number. This is widespread crime, according to multiple commments. Who will stop it ?
