This person keeps calling me.

I'm not sure which category this falls under, they never said a specific company or department, or anything. Recently I filed an unemployment claim, and insurance claim. I did settle the insurance claim, but the unemployment is with the Utah Department of Workforce Services comes up "State of Utah" on caller ID.

I googled the number they left in the voice mail 855-374-5604 and one site said it's a legal threat robocall. The number they called from 877-824-4193. Research shows it's most likely a scam as well. For S&G's I called the 855 number and it just rang for like 3 minutes before I hung up. They had a very normal American accent.

Transcript of the call:

"Lance (my last name), this is Amber Williams contacting you regarding claim number  N1759715. Since I was unable to reach you by phone today, I have been instructed to contact your place of employment because it looks to be your location at this time. You do still have the option to contact the office handling the claim. Now the number provided to that office is 855-374-5604 best of luck moving forward."

The call had nothing to do with your prior claim. This is the script of a Phony Debt Scammer. The line "best of luck moving forward", is a classic identifier for Debt Scammers. The idea is to scare and intimidate you in to paying a debt you do not owe.

If you search the number 855-374-5604, it is associated with a "legal threat robo call."

Do NOT call these crooks back. That will only get you more calls and the calls will become threatening and harassing. Ignore the call, block both those numbers and keep checking your caller ID for more calls from the same jerks.
