Yup, I get 3 or 4 calls a day. Set them up in my address book under B*st*rds. Even gave them their own ringtone. "Silent" hahaha. And everytime I get bored I block my number and call them and say nothing until they hangup. Gotta do something with unlimited nation wide calling! Hahahahaha! What ever happened to interactive conversation with someone with respect. Doesn't happen anymore. They make 10 bucks an hour to feed their a55hole bosses drug and alchohol habit and it grows daily.

From what i can tell, apelles offers collections and other contact center services. they do in fact collect for US BANK over drafted checking accounts. fraud claims do end up in their office, if he member did not meet conditions within set time frames, or the member was actually part of the cause of the fraud. cashing a bogus check from a scam for example. all collections agencies are going to have a few hard nosed employees, because they are typically paid a bonus for on the $'s collected. legislative changes, fines and other punishment does seem to be weeding some of the bad apples out though, generally speaking. if u r actually interested in settling, request a settlement letter from them through email. be sure to meet all conditions outlined in the settlement agreement to ensure the balance is adjusted to 0 after payment, inquire about when it will be reflected on credit reports (or who you would need to contact about that info) and confirm they will issue you a satisfaction notice once the balance is resolved. Also, ask if there will be any tax consequenc related to the adjusted amount and if the balance is time barred for legal pursuit through a court. That is informatrion they have to provide. Record this conversation if you have the ability to do so. the best time to negotiate can 1 pay settlements is if you can immediately pay it off. Biggest reductions can be done at the beginning if a month when 3rd party agencies have room in there aggregates, or at the end of a month as these companies push to meet certain goals. finally, know that some of the people that post in these sites can be angry or disgruntled debtors that have no intention of resolving any of their delinquencies...ever, and will always point the figure at the lender ho mistakenly took the chance on them or allowed them to open an account as a service to them. let me know if there are any questions. i can provide email info privately for further discussion.

    Jalapeño Dip
Through a really improbable series of events, a rarely used checking account I had at US Bank for 20+ years but always kept in good standing got closed on me last year. I had been sick and by the time I was able to deal with what started as a minor overdraft was hundreds of dollars in the red. I was so infuriated (and still not well enough to get into some major fight with them) that I decided the damage was done so f*** them if they wanted to treat a long-time customer this way. I'd deal with it when I felt like it.

But of course I get calls daily from this number. I have their number blocked on my iPhone and I just stumbled across some of the voicemails they left. Most of the time they don't leave one. A couple had no talking but the person was typing loudly for a few seconds.

The latest one was longer and started with a woman saying "how did you like the jalapeño dip?" And continued for over a minute as a muffled conversation went on in the background with even more loud typing. After reading through the other comments here, no way am I talking to them. They are obviously employing a number of illegal ploys in their collection methods.

Very rude woman. Couldn't pronounce my name, demanded I "verify" personal information (address, zip, social), absolutely refused to tell me what it was about except that she was affiliated with US Bank, which I doubt because I've dealt with their debt collectors before and they never demanded personal information like that. When I refused to give her anything, she rudely said "we'll call back when you're ready to verify your information," then hung up. I'm blocking this number. If it's about a legitimate debt, too bad, because I will not deal with that woman nor this company, and I will not give out my personal information just because someone demands it.

Whenever I answer the call they hang up never say a word just hang up.  If you are a company why don't you send your info through the mail and then we will know that you are legit.  When you don't say anything on the phone you are considered a SCAM so get it together and do things in the right way.  You can be sued for harassment.
