They sent me collection bills too. I didn't know it was a scam so I paid the first bill they sent me. But now, they sent me another one which supposes to be paid in full through WC. That is the time I became double of this collecting company named Gulf Coast and search online. Here I am finding I was scammed.

It is not a scam. They are debt collectors collecting on a debt you owe. WC does not pay everything in full. Pay your debt and they will stop calling.

Actually it is illegal for a bill collector to harass you on the phone. Get a lawyer and you could collect more than 1000.00 per call.

I keep getting calls from this number. They hang up before I can pick up but leave a message to return the call. After reading the other messages here, I called the 941-927-6999 number and got a rude representative named Chris. He had my correct name but wanted me to give him my date of birth  before he would "help" me. I told him that since I didn't know who he/they were, I would not give him my date of birth over the phone. He then hung up on me with no attempt to carry the conversation further. This seems very suspicious to me. A legitimate company, I would think, would attempt to verify identity in a way that would not make the caller feel vulnerable. Beware...
