Got a VM message and returned their call. They were looking for the person who had my number previously. I explained this and the person on the other end of the line would not identify his company but he did apologize and said my number would be removed from their database. We shall see.

Pretty much the same problems everyone else has been going thru.It's getting old.I did turn them into The National Do Not call list.Probably won't do any good.

Yeah Northland group Debt collection scum bags.

This company called (Northland Group), I called back and spoke to someone. Told him that someone just called and hung up. He asked for my phone number, told me the person he was looking for, told him not at this number, he said he'd make the note, thanked me for calling and apologized for the inconvenience. My first time EVER dealing with a decent collection agency.. So call back, go throught the prompts and ask them to remove you, they might just do it :)

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, I HAVE A PHONE THAT BLOCKS CALLS, AND IT WORKS WONDERFULL- THEY CANT EVEN GET MY RECORDER - SCAMMERS OF THE WORLD

do not answer any calls from this number...these people are slime balls...

Keep calling, Name Unknown but phone number will come up as 877-867-3787. When I get a call from this number, I will also get a call from (800)399-0732 about 10 minutes apart. Need to stp calling my number witch is in the 310 area code.

I don't know anyone by the name of Toll-Free- so I never answer these calls. Whoever calls never leaves a message. Figure I'm not wanted too badly.

Love this and would like to do the same, since sending the call to Voice Mail isn't of much good.  How can this be accomplished, any suggestions?

They called and ask for me however they are asking for my SS# and date of birth and when I ask who is this and why they were calling the person hang up on me

they call for my son. who doesnt live here. i tell them that. they say ok. we will take him off our list. and then call the next day and dont answer when i pick up. annoying

It definitely sounds like a collection agency, when I asked her where she was calling from she said "The Northland Group." I asked her what that group was and she said that she cannot tell me unless I was the person that they were calling for. I said I wasn't him, and she said that she would remove me from the database.

Scam computer generated voice called my house twice in a month claiming to be the IRS and left message on answering machine saying I have a lawsuit against me. Hahaha. Right

Called me about a friend's debt, not mine.  I was immediately suspicious when the first words out of the caller's mouth were- our phone conversation was being recorded.  They never identified themselves by name though. Again-suspicious .
