apparently other people getting calls from this number believe it to be a phishing scam. they claim to be a collection agency but they sound very suspicious and ask for confidential information over the phone.

I get multiple daily phone calls from this #. Tried to tell them I owe nothing, to no avail. So, I phone them back each time and keep them busy on the phone. By now, they already recognise my number my number and hang up on me. if more people do that then they have to hire more operators for their phones, then it costs them more money to do this blind computer-calling and they give it up eventually because they only collect when they get paid. No pay means find something else to scam. Good luck. (I am setting up a business selling a small gadget that calls this number all day long, just to give them them taste of their own medicine!)

These people have been calling me at work.. every day for months.. I have checked and there is nothing outstanding with the Credit bureau.. so they leave the number along with a file # but you call back and the phone just rings and rings.. no machine pick up nothing.. so how the hell is anyone suppose to call back in regards to the File #?

Phishing Scam. Fake credit bureau phone call. If they were a real bureau they wouldn't sound so crappy. Block and don't call back... unless you want to troll hehe

this number has been calling me from early morning unto the evening, I do not answer,they call 3 to 4 times a day and it is actually getting on my nerves . I think it is time to cancel my landline ,

I've received the call (actually the voicemail) from this number today. Even though they know my name, the way this message is built and presented tells me that this is the telephone scam. So, I don't do anything. I am sure: if authorities need to contact me, they will use the old fashioned way - the standard Canada Post' letter.

We are a company and receive calls from this number all the time.  Sometimes the automated message mentions a name of someone who works here, often we have never heard of the person.  I can only assume its a scam.  I pass the message only once to a staff member if they are working here, after that I hang up. I ensure I inform all staff members this is probably a scam and to check out the internet comments.  If you do call back NEVER GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF.  I think its about time the government look into some of these companies.  You have to pay in Canada not to have your home phone number published by the phone companies it leaves ordinary people vulnerable to this kind of scam.  We should all have the right to keep our personal information private for free.

I received called from this number almost everyday. There is an automated voice says it is the credit bureau agency. If I owe anything I should receive invoice by mail. So blocked the number finally.

I have gotten several calls from them over the years, and still do, looking for an ex roommate. They always give the same spiel but the file numbers do change. It is legit but quite annoying as I insist that my ex is definitely not at this number. It's a real number but I think they tend to be over pushy in tracking debtors down.

Nothing "legit" about it if they keep calling when they know they have the wrong number.
