they just called my phone and left a 2 second voice mail with a bunch of beeps in the back ground

the call did the same thing to me saying  thank you for calling customer service we will call you back shortly. I wish it would stop cause the call came in this morning and then this afternoon I betcha the call will come in this evening too, what I'm gonna do is when the call comes next time I'll pick up the phone and hang up

Got a phonecall today, they specif asked my husband for me, when I answered a man asked if I was Berit, I said yes and he hanged up. My husband called back, we got a recording from customer service, playing the same msg 4 times then it hanged up.

I would like this person/machine to stop calling me. Thank you!

how stupid to call someone over and over and when they do answer, don't say anything! I have had this number call me several times. I have answered several times and nothing on the other end!! what a freakin' waste. I did sign up for some info online about "furthering your education".. I just don't understand calling and then not speaking when a person answers.. it's like having a creepy person stalking you, not calling to talk, but just to see if you're there..

i've been getting these calls for months but just recently they have increased when i do answer our ck my voicemail they take 50 seconds off my phone time are they making money on that and thats why they blow us off ?  i wish i could block them off on my cell phone

I have been getting this number off and on weeks and when i call back, they don't give me the company name.

Started getting the calls today and googled the number to see what I could find out. Left no message and has called twice already.

I put in some information last night and then they ask weird questions so I stopped but unluckily enough they got my number. So I googled it and someone said it was that website.

They called me twice and I asked to be removed from their stupid list. Finally after YELLING at them and calling the guy a flunkie loser, I got to talk to someone else who said I would be removed. Why the hell would I want them to help me find a college...? If their workers are any proof of the results of the people they help find a college, they can shove their stupid help so far up their [***] it comes out their mouths...idiots.

So annoying. Got called about 6 times and my sister answered one of the calls and they told her that they are doing a follow up on my college loans.  She told them I was at work and they promptly hung up on her when she about to give them my schedule.  I freaked out thinking that there's something wrong with my student loans so I checked with my loan company but was told that they NEVER contacted me on the said day.  Then I checked my home phone and tried to called the bogus number but I just got a recording of some guy saying "press 1 for customer service"  
Cheap morons, at least save up some money to sound legit.

It is from American Liberty Scholarship.  There's no phone number listed on their website, so I had to do a BBB search and found the contact information.  I left a message on this number and threatened to call every agency I had to until somebody returned my call.  This is the info from the BBB site:

This # has just called me 3 times while I was in class. My phone was on silent thankfully. I answered last night when they called and it was silent. I tried calling them back, figuring it was a bad connection, and it said, "thank you for calling customer service please press 1". It is really getting annoying because I am waiting for calls from scholarships and these prank calls are wasting my time.

They call and I refuse to answer for unknowns or a number I have no clue about. I just let it ring, with the volume turned off. I feel if it was so important, they will leave a message. If not,who cares, they don't and I don't. If the call was so important, they would have left a message.

I have not applied for any school or college related service and they call me on my business line.

I suspect that they are just simply seeing what phone numbers are "live". After you answer, they know you are live and they know what time of day you answer your phone.

This is likely information that they can sell to telemarketers.

They have linked to an employment site. When you out your info in for job opportunities they obtain it and call offering you scholarships for job training but they will not give the name of the company . If you search the number it shows up as no existing number, sounds like their trying to hide something,

Have been getting called repeatedly by this number but have not spoken to a live person.  I agree that it has something to do with some college finder service.  I say this because at some point I must have gotten on a list of schools because I have been getting miscellaneous calls for about the last 6 months now.  It hasn't been that many considering the length of time but it is still ANNOYING!  Best advice, if you actually talk to a live person tell them that if you receive any further calls from their number that you will be contacting the FCC with their contact information.  That should stop it pretty quick.  This worked for me once before a few years back when I kept getting calls day and night from some organization that would not take me off their call list no matter how many times I asked.

Apparently these people are hacking phones. I want to know who it is and I want them to stop calling me.
