I'm getting them too just called them and told them to STOP since I already get my local paper.  He said they would, we'll see...I also submitted a complaint https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do?form_page=1088D here as previously posted.

Call came in, I answered, no one there.  I called  # got hold music, then nothing.  this is very annoying.  I'm on the don not call list.

Can't we get this caller shut off.  I am tired of the nonsense.

I called and it is indeed a local newspaper calling for renewals.  It is a recording with a delay on it and doesnt start quickly enough.  If you hold on you will get the recording.  They will take you off the list if you call, or if you just listen to the recording you will be deleted.

Calls but doesn't leave message.

WE keep getting calls through out the day for the past two weeks from the above number. We are being interrupted constrantly and pick the phone up but no one is there. They call back a few hours later. We will be contacting the police soon if it does not stop.

Called the number back and it was the Pantagraph Newspaper

i do not have a phone plan yet they get thru.  Also on Do Not Call list.

This # called & then left a voicemail of a few seconds of silence.  Tried calling back the # but the business is not identified and the message just says that they're helping others. After waiting for a few minutes through terrible music, I hung up.
Reported to DONOTCALL.

It's a national newspaper subscription company trying to get you

to subscribe to your local newspaper.
The caller ID states UNKNOWN NAME, and the phone number shown

(877-944-8544) is a dead number.
When they call, you answer, and they don't speak--it's called

"war dialing."
Whenever you folks get calls from this number--PLEASE FILE AN

FCC COMPLAINT!  If you don't--they will not be stopped.
Just go to the FCC Don't Call website, register your phone

numbers on the national list if you haven't yet, then report

them EVERY time they call you.
Another tip--keep a log of each time they call noting the date

and time.  If you have to file repeat complaints--you can

reference the previous calls.

From what I can find out, Crossfire Marketing in Rancho

Cucamonga is responsible for this. If you call their toll-free

line you get a voicemail for a "Mickey Gross". A search of

California business licenses reveals that the agent for

Crossfire is a Stephen Rudnicki. A little further digging gets

business associates of Stephen Rudnicki and Crossfire, one of

which is a Michael Gross. A number for Michael Gross in Rancho

Cucamonga is 909-483-9966. I'm sure he'd love to hear from his

fans.
