This number keeps calling our house and asking for our 23 year old daughter.  Normally when it says that the caller's identity is "unavailable" or "unknown" we don't pick it up because it is a telemarketing call. Finally picked up yesterday and when they asked for her I said that she wasn't available and could I take a message.  He said "No," and I then said, "My daughter is going to be moving and I am her Mom; is there anything I can help you with?"  He paused, his voice changed to a different tone and said, "I'll call back."  Well, he is a man of his word because it is 17 hours later and he called, AGAIN!
I was going to call the number but glad I didn't when I first read that it originated in Taiwan, but some others said when they tried to call back it wouldn't go through. Phew.......!!!
Wish this guy would take the hint and not call back. Next time I see that number, I am going to get a whistle and blow his eardrums out, since we have asked him NOT to call again and to put us on his "NO CALL" list.

Just got a call from this number (8:22 EST).

I just got a call too, it's midday and he asked for me, I said "that's me" he said thank you and than hung up before I could ask anything?

You must report harassing phone calls to your state's Attorney General's Office or Office of Consumer Affairs so that they can investigate.  Also contact the Federal Trade Commission for assistance.

Called several times and refuse to leave reasons.

They have called everyday this week.  First time left a voice mail that got cut off.  No messages since.

Have gotten three calls from this number in the last few days.  I tried to call it back and it's invalid.  I decided to Google it and found the above responses.  It seems like a scam and they must be clueless to the fact that Wachovia is now Wells-Fargo.  And in response to earlier notes banks DO solicit business...but only if you have contacted them for some other reason on the same call.  They do not initiate this contact.  I'd try to use the country and city code for Taipei, Taiwan but am too cheap to pay for the call.

keeps calling every day wont leave a message

He called me that same number 886 260 8866 when I said hello they just hunged up and they called me 12:39 and they won't stop calling me and refuse to leave a message

this caller calls everyday says from wachovia want us to sign up for a 30 day trial every time we say no take us off the calling list but keeps on calling enough is enough

They have been calling me  mid-day  for several days now ..  I finally answered  and they said that they were  Wachovia  w/ a special offer .   Then asked for information and mentioned  Term Life Ins .      Pittsburgh Life ??     I hung up but they called again ..     Wachovia  can't do Banking  .  I thought they were changing to  Well  Fargo  ?  Not here in my state ..    DON'T  ANSWER  .   That would be wise !!

This unknown caller calls my house EVERY day, sometimes 2-3 times EVERY day, and up until tonight, left no message. Tonight I picked up the phone when I saw this number pop up for the forty-eleventh time, and a young guy asked for my wife by name. I said she was not here, was there a message? He said,"No message. I'll call back."  Whatever happened to the"DO NOT CALL" list I registered to?

I'd like to know just who you are supposed to report this number to because I'm sick of being harassed on  a daily basis.

I swear the " Do not Call" list has employees who get our numbers and sell them on the side. I swear it-because I've never in my life gotten sooo many "unkown" calls until I signed up on that damn do not call list and they won't do a damn thing about it--I've emailed them, even called them about this and all they do is say just report it. What the hell for? They won't do anything about it. This is THE most worthless department I've ever seen. Here is a list of phone numbers that continuously ring all day at my house SINCE I signed up on the "Do not call" list.
