I got a text from this number, it is from British Gas

Is this British gas ?

THIS IS BRITISH GAS i rang them and asked about this text . it was my number it had got attached to sum ones account

Got a meter reading text from this number saying from British Gas. I'm not even with BG

I am being bombarded with these (for gas and elec). I have no accounts with Br Gas.  I have emailed their customer services, but I doubt it will help...

just got texts from this number asking me for meter readings for two meters that are not even mine. About third time I have had this from British Gas...becoming a right pain

I get these via Skype for Business on my works phone. When it was answered once it was a text message from 88673, it's the same number that I get SMS reminders from British Gas on. I keep getting 'missed call' emails in the evening, from Skype for Business, because they message me in the evening too. I even got one at 22:34.

Hi i have recieved 3-4 texts with this number,regarding possible estimated bills.
I dont understand why this happening as i have a external meter,
and there has never been a problem, please advise.

Confirming Pay as you go card numbers for gas and electric from British Gas- I don't even have account with them
