This number keeps on calling me about 3 times a day. I don't want to receive this call

I informed them that the call was being monitored for quality control by the local sheriffs department.  End of call.

I have received several calls from this number.  The never leave a message and they call at all times of the day.  I called the number back and they put me on hold forever with a message telling me to hold for a representative.  No one ever picked up and I was finally transferred to a message machine that told me to leave a message with no company name or any information indicating who this number came from.

This number plus numerous others have been calling me constantly for the past month!!! How do I get them to quit?!  I have no idea what they want.

same number calls my line multiple times a day. this thread has been going for over a year now.

I'd like to know how they are getting our numbers. It should be against privacy acts and should be able to sue for harassment.
