This is the National Rifle Association's number. They keep calling my business and when I do not answer they will not leave a message. I *69 the number and it was them. A recording says that they were trying to get in touch with us (mind you I called them) and that they will call back in a couple days. If I wanted additional information to press 1. I waited to see if it gave me any other options and it didn't, it hung up on me. They also kept calling my home phone multiple times of the day until finally I did the same thing (*69) and waited through all of the prompts. Finally when it came to press this button to opt out of future callings, I pressed that one and it worked. These calls are not giving the option. The phone companies need to quit letting people and corporations from hiding behind toll free numbers or unavailable numbers.

When you call back, the answer is "National Rifle Association", however it is not the real National Rifle Association. It is a bunch of idiots that are out to discredit the NRA, probably part of Bloombergs plot. They are tryin g to weaken the power of the NRA so that they can begin to win gun control laws. I have blocked a dozen different numbers that claim to be the NRA & none are.

That is exactly what these phony callers are trying get NRA members to do. NRA & you are being duped by these phony callers, into thinking it is the real NRA. First of all, the NRA doesn't operate that way & secondly, they do not call someone and then not respond to whoever they call. It's all a fraud perpetrated most likely by anti gun idiots like Michael Bloomberg and his hen party.

My KX-TG5212, 12 year old Panasonic, cordless answering machine, has been hanging up on unwanted calls ever since I bought it. Why bother or worry about those calls?

Actually, the National Recovery Agency (a collection agency) bought a software program for their auto dial that hides their originating number and shows the National Rifle Association's number on caller-ID.  Then when you call it back, another organization (in this case, the NRA) takes the blame, all while the real company calling - National Recovery Agency - is left to continue to call you in the future.  Brilliant, because they take none of the blame for ticking people off.

Seems like complaints on this number has been going on for years .  Definitely calls here weekly at least.  They don't stop the matter what you do.  Lately I've just been taking the phone off the hook when they call leaving them on hold .
