Just like all the others.  I received a boot after a foot injury.  I have excellent insurance, have paid every bill that has come.  What I am not willing to do is give someone a credit card # over the phone to someone in a different country for a bill they say they have no record of my name being in their system....but they just keep calling.  The hospital I went to gave me a number for their local salesman and told me that he might be able to help?????  I will NOT be going back to Monroe Hospital in Bloomington Indiana!  If these people try to ruin my credit... we WILL meet someone in court!  All this over $46 that was mailed weeks ago!

Okay, you'll love this.  So I was fitted in the doctors office with at walking boot from a gal in the office who worked for DJO.  Insurance picked up part of it and DJO sent me a bill for the rest. I paid the bill on line, and a week later they called me (at this number) saying they needed to talked to me.  I called them back but first checked my balance on line which indicated I still owed them.  I got on the line and immediately asked the guy how long it takes the computer to update payments.  He had not idea, but showed I was paid in full.  So I asked why did DJO call me?
He said it was to thank me for the payment!  (what a joke!)

I had knee surgery in July. Got the bill from DJO in late October and paid it Nov 1st.  It was 13 dollars and change.  Just got a call tonight.

They called multiple times and left messages that were indecipherable. I googled the number to find out who they are.

UNWANTED Call about ORTHODONTIA???

Received a call for a brace I purchased from Jefferson Orthopedic Appliances.  Somehow this caller obtained information -phone and name and stated there was an unpaid balance.(Pd in full at purchase)  This is a HIPAA violation.  Somehow this record of sale was breached.  Did not find the supplier to be interested or  of much help.

Received a message and a ID code to call back--My insuance paid for the wrist brace that I got from the doctor and that will be the end of my participation here.  I have never been billed from third party's for something that my insurance paid for.
