I have, per the legal requirements of The Fair Debt Collection Act (the complete act, not just that portion which is practiced by most but not all debt collectors) given both verbal and written demands that ALL communications between, Wells Fargo Credit Card division, be in written, either to my email address: whfbiz@mindspring.com, or in writing to PO Box 480550.  This request/demand is enforceable not just to Wells Fargo/Wachovia, but to EVERY debt collector which they choose to contract with.

Wells Fargo has been fully notified as to my discriminatory job and financial situation, which even after 3 years still has not changed to my frustration and this matter is fully out of my control.

It is suggested that this debt collector re-check with their attorney and review the entire Fair Debt Collection Act as to the obligations of both parties and stop the harassing verbal attempts on this minute cell phone.  This suggestion comes fully with a suggestion from The United States Justice Department's investigation regarding my personal rights in this matter.

I have my cell phone number on a do not call list. If a debt collector wants to communicate with me, then they can only do it by conventional mail since it cost for cell phone minutes. They never leave a message on my voice mail, since I do not answer phone numbers that I do not know of.

I received a text message that says from BB&T.  IT is sending a code that I did not request and asking me to contact them if I did not submit the request.

BB&T account assistance.  Number found on granddaughter phone so I called the number 888-228-6654 on 4-20-2017 @ 5:35 pm EDT. They helped her unlock her online password.  This is NOT a debt collector.

i just received a code that i did not request from 888-228-6654 . i , and no one at this number have any accounts with bb&t and do not wish to have . I tried calling the number on the web site 800-226-5228 and cannot get through . if i get any more messages from bb&t i will contact the United States Justice Department

I have tried many times to logon to my BB&T account with typing my email address, my account number, to help retrieve my username (forgotten) or my forgotten password, with no help from 'Help getting back to my account', and it now tells me to call this number, I have not called this number because I am afraid to...don't know who I'm calling.

It is too bad that bank doesn't have a published phone number on their bank statements or official website because if they did then you could have called that number and you would have known who you are talking to. Then again you could have simply gone into one of their branches as well.
