Got a call and voicemail today from this number (Best Buy) telling me my phone is eligible for an upgrade. Never purchased a phone through them, never gave them my number, so I dunno why they have it. Voicemail also sounded like a recorded message, considering the person leaving the voicemail said "hi" twice in the same tone of voice several seconds apart

Best Buy soliciting my business by offering a cell phone upgrade. I did not purchase from Best Buy so this is an unsolicited call and harrassment.

"Best Buy" called saying my phone is eligible for an upgrade. I upgraded a month ago at the apple store (AT&T iPhone).  I've never given best buy my phone number, nor have I ever purchased a cell phone from Best Buy.....

I thought the certificate was good till Oct.  Right now I don't have a way to print it out.
will it work if I just use my Best Buy card?
Can I just write down the info, and use it that way

Sorry I missed your call.

Don't stop there.  Ask to speak to a supervisor and let them know that you are getting someone else's phone calls.  Explain to them, if they choose to not do anything about the errant information in their data-base, that they will be liable for harassment, compounded by each unwanted call.

If that doesn't work (which I doubt), continue up the food chain to the executive offices.

Got a call from this number.  They hung up as soon as I picked up the phone.  I see on the Internet that this is Best Buy's number.  I do not and never have done business with Best Buy, so how did they even get my number?

Received a call from a number I did not recognize listed on my phone as "Nuisance Likely"...but the number is Best Buy and legit! They were doing a follow-up on the clothes dryer delivered and installed today by them!!!

They said my security has stopped. Hahaha.  I just got a new computer and i did not buy it at best buys.  They wanted me to turn my computer on "right away".  What a hoax.  I just hung up!!!!!!

the message i got from this number  (888) 237 9290 was  my phone was acting up and a technician would have to come inside the house to fix it.   Now if i had called them i would not have a problem with this but... i think it is a scam  and and i said i was not available.

Received phone call, called back...took forever to figure out why they called - partially automated phone, then transferred, hold time over 27 minutes...hung up. Still don't know why they called.

Two calls from this number today   name displayed with call was Best Buy Bvck. I asked the caller if they represented Best Buy. Caller responded by saying she represented "Home Business Advisors" and wanted to extend this call to a business advisor.

"Recently we are refunding your money as we are closing down our business.. Press One if you don't want to get a refund, press two to talk to our refund executive, press three to ad it into your DNC list, press Four if you got the refund already..."

3 Msgs. from Bestbuy telling me something was about to expire. I did not answer. Idont have Best Buy .
