Keep receiving calls from unavailable, toll free numbers and Ohio number leaves same message about urgent personal matter that has been "escalated" to them and I must call their number 888-245-4114 immediately. The calls are never ending.

“Specialist Lawrence” (with a thick accent) kept calling from an Ohio number 614-729-3000 claiming to be from the Community bank for Macy’s for a matter that has been “escalated to me” I want to stress the urgency returning my calls so please make it the call I so we can discuss our options we have available for you and the event we do not hear from you this will be escalated further.  I can be reached at 1-888-245-4114.

I called back and the person that answered was phishing for all kinds of information from me.  When i refused to give info, they said they would put me on a do not call list; I hope they do...

Received a call stating that I needed to call them back due to an "issue" that's been escalated.
In debt collection, the collection agency isn't allowed to provide information without verification from the individual they are contacting that they are in fact the person that owes the debt. The woman that left the voicemail was calling me by my first name, and assumed that she had the right party - appears to be a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Community Bank. They left a message using my last name that I haven't used for over 20 years. The message sounded like a recording. Called the number back and got the Community Bank collections department. I didn't give them my phone number or name and just said if it's that important you can mail me the information. Sounds like a scam.

You need to listen better. It is Comenity Bank that issues lots and lots of branded credit cards.
