if you have FiOS phone you can block numbers...i've done it to them and another SAT help scam place that kept calling

Rec'd yet the 3rd call from 888-260-4306 today.

I've been getting the same calls, I found their website: this phone number is on the bottom of the page so I know for sure that this is their website. But if anyone is interested in going on it: http://www.universityprepcenter.com/help.php

i get 2 to 4 calls a day from the same number

To be sure everyone knows about the DNC Registry:

1. Here's how to register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry, which is a service of the Federal Gov't. Go to: https://www.donotcall.gov/

2. If your number is on the Register, telemarketers are not supposed to call you - A consumer who receives a telemarketing call despite being on the registry will be able to file a complaint with the FTC, either online or by calling a toll-free number. Violators could be fined up to $16,000 per incident.

3. Once your number is on the Register, if you get a call from 888-260-4306, REPORT THEM directly to the Registry (see URL above) and/or use the FTC form mentioned in a previous post. If enough of us file a complaint, it should force them to stop their cold-call telemarketing.

4. Assert your rights!

Answered the call last week and spoke to a live person.  I told her that my son is participating in other college prep programs already, and she said she will remove my son's name from the contact list and didn't give me any hassle.  I have not received any call from this number since.  Before this I have been receiving regular calls for months and they never left a message.

Asked fast talkng salesman to send me an introductory e-mail. He said they dont do that. When I asked for their website he just hung up after citing my sons name and trying sell a $229.99 college prep package.

The call several times a day. Wish they woild stop.

This number calls continually and no one is on the line!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST

888-260-4306 still keep calling, after i File A Complaint to DO_NOT_CALL.

When I asked the caller to repeat the name of the company he was calling from, he hung up on me.

I answered the phone, the man asked if I were my son's mom or dad. He knew my son's name. I asked him who he was and he did not respond. I hung up and called the number back.  I got the same response as others who have complained about this number. "You've reached our customer service department; all of our associates are busy, please leave a message....."the mail box is full try calling again at another time..." 888-260-4306

They called me 8 times in 6 days

The guy said the same thing, asked for the parent of XXX and knew my daughter's exact name, which was just creepy. When i asked who was calling, he said "Jim." and I said, "Jim who?" and he kept asking for the parent of my daughter, when i asked again who this was...he was completely rude and said "my name is jim, like i told you for the LAST TWO TIMES" and yelled at me so I hung up on him.

BEWARE!!!  These guys scammed my husband out of our credit card number,  They told him that his wife had ordered this test software for my daughter.  He stupidly gave them our info.  It took over a month, 10-20 phone calls,  and lots of threats to get our money back.

I keep getting calls from this number.  No message is left on the answering machine and if I pick up, no one is on the line.  I got fed up and googled the number.  This has been going on for a long time.  I cannot believe no one has complained, so does it even help?  I am going to complain regardless.

They called repeatedly and when my son told them to stop calling they continued to call and threatened him and told him they knew where we lived.

be very careful....checked out the company...seems to be a scam.  customer service number is too full to take any messages...same with the number 1-866-343-6754, given for the company.

I received a call from this number.   They knew my child's name and they knew he took the PSAT.

I asked to see their website before I made a decision. "We don't do it that way".  Are you going to make a purchase?  It is $249.95, but if you get it online it is $349.95.   I kept asking "who am I doing business with".   More evasion.

I hung up.
