    It was Comcast.  Asking if I wanted to upgrade my internet service for an extra ten bucks.  I said no thank you.  She pushed back alittle.  Said I really can't afford it.  She said she understood and thanked me for my time.

    Starting getting calls from this number this past week, no message, but I agree that it is Comcast. My bill is only four days late.... so a little ridiculous to be getting calls to pay that soon. Who knows?

    I haven't had Comcast for several months now.  I missed a call from this number a couple of days ago so I called it right back.  She looked at my account [closed] and couldn't figure out why they called me.  They called again today.

    I called this number today and got Comcast with the usual recorded prompts.  I was eventually transferred to a "real" Comcast rep who put me on hold while he tried to see where the number was coming from.  Unable to find out but did put me on an internal "Do not call" list.   I'm already on the nat'l do not call list - evidently no attention is paid to this one

    Just got a call from this number, but when I picked up, there was no one on the line.  Faulty robo call?
    I do use Comcast, but am paying my bill automatically and have no installations scheduled.

    prob comcast - since the posters are right thats its 888-comcast...but pretty annoying for a company to keep calling you and not leave messages.  only going to irritate a customer...i have comcast for internet - yes my bills are paid so no one needs to post idiotic comments....i don't have them for TV and they are trying to get me to sign up for a 'free' internet upgrade that includes some on demand tv...they called a few weeks ago and i kept asking the girl if there was a catch and she kept saying no...Then as she was about to set up an appointment (even though I told her I would not be available and she said its ok to cancel even day of -) she starts reading the legal stuff that includes telling me its a promotional offer and my bill will increase by $10 in six months..  HEY YOU SAID NO CATCH???? um..well...um....click.

    I called Comcast last night when my cable service kept blacking out intermittently. They said there is an outtage in my area they are working to fix. They said they will call me when it is fixed. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL ME, that it is 9:23pm and I DO NOT WANT TO BE CALLED and reiterated to MAKE SURE I WILL NOT BE CALLED because I was working at home on an important project and knew it would be a late night. The service came back on again during my initial call to them so it seemed the problem was already fixed. I did an all-nighter and went to bed at 6:30 this morning...and guess what? COMCAST CALLED ME ANYWAY AND WOKE ME UP at 816am. ~!!!!!!!!!!~ After I did not answer, THEY CALLED AGAIN an HOUR LATER at 9:22AM.  No message either time and both caller IDs say Toll Free Call. THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.  BLATANT HARASSMENT NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. For a being communications company, they totally blew it.

    I just got a call from that number and they left a message telling me that I owed $576.00 and that they are shutting off my service until I pay it.  I called the number from my car and got a foreign speaking person who said the same thing and then hung up on me.  I went back to work and called Comcast and reeeeeeally got the run around.  They wanted more and more info from me that would be considered "private".  Finally, I said look I don't even use Comcast!  I did a long time ago.  They told me maybe I owed the money from then--which I know I didn't!  They wanted my current address and I wouldn't give it to them.  The last address they had on file was from 12 years ago and I didn't owe a penny.  Something is just NOT right with this whole thing!  Even if this is the number for Comcast--something is going on behind the scenes.  I wish I knew the answers!  Now for sure I wouldn't do any business with Comcast!

    This number has called me eleven times in the last 20 minutes. It’s like they need me for an emergency and if it wasn’t for the first three digits I’d think something bad was happening for how much my phone was blowing up! I am not happy at all about this I have automatic payments making my services continue. They shouldn’t be calling constantly it really makes me mad and I am blocking the number because this is outrageous and it’s not even a weekday.
