OMG...GHETTO RUDE FOLKS: Expecially MS. DABNY..Sounds like some ghetto trash, they have caller ID, so beware...some jacobs something collections, but they will act like some law firm and say they need your statement and you may not even be aware of the charges pending against you..will call you and curse, and talk crap..have advised them to not call, but they keep calling and harrassing, tried to get a fax number to inform them in writing, but they wont..once someone gets the information for these people, they will be facing suit..receptionist sounds like a man, but its some dumb [***] ghetto broad too.

I got a call from this # too. I was told I had some sort of fraud in my name. I thought it was a scam and hung up on those people. They continued to call asking for a statement from for for a couple weeks. Then I got a notice on this matter sent directly to me! Please take warning people, this is not a joke! I ended up pay 3x as much. Wish I would have just listened now!

I have no idea who the person is they are looking for, and when you try to tell them that, they just get louder, ruder and even more ghetto..so..obviously they don't care whom they are speaking with, whether your that person or not, and it's no longer the persons phone number and you tell them over and over but they continue to call. Its so stupid. They are wasting energy. They are being reported for harrassment. Guess they will be the ones wishing they had better practices..

I received a call from these people I didnt know who they were so i ignored the call. A few days later my mom advised me of a 10 notice to appeared at her house for me. I called the creditor directly and they referred me back to Jacob Sherkman and Associates. They were very helpful, not entirely professional but they saved me some money on my old debt so I'm thankful.

Um, you are an idiot...these are collection buyers and scammers...they are trying to act like attorneys and ARE NOT, do not fall for this scam.

are you reading what I read it says they can actual proceed with a lawsuit through an affiliated attorney. So that means they personally can not do anything but its still far from an idol threat. Thanks for the link though.

I received the same kinda call.. ghetto rude [***] [***]. Harrassing muthafuckers too... Mr. Davis is the one whom called me.... Bogus [***] he came up with.. He said I committed fraud.. I was like oookay..I haven't even had a checking acct in years... He then clicked on me

I just got a phone call at work from some ghetto a$$ woman who was so rude and nasty over the phone that she wouldnt even let me talk just kept getting louder and rude with me calling me a lie and insulting me while on the phone and im at work.  I cussed her a$$ out and called her a B#### and hung up the phone.  She had the nerve to call back and wanted to speak to my admin...low and behold I answers the phone and decides which calls is transfer to my admin.  I told her to stop harrassing me at work and hung up again.  She called back again.  I just put her on hold.  and she eventually hung up.  Guess she got tired listening to the hold music.  And this goes every day every week.  I need this to stop.  If I wasnt at work i would give her a good tongue lashing!!

This lady has been calling us for a year and told us ll bad things and caused us a family feuded against our daughter.boy do we owe her an apology the daughter and her husband do not pay these people they are scammers big time

Ms. Dabny is the worse. they will threaten to have you arrested and put in jail. All just threats if you go to the website you will see the steps they will take. what they do is down right illegal , and annoying.

HAHAH - Got a call from Mr. Bryant today who saw my posts here!  He left a message (I don't answer calls that I don't know the number) telling me I shouldn't spend so much time on the internet.  He said he was going to send my information to another Collections Agency, which of course admits that's what they are.  Calls have been ongoing for roughly a year, and I assume it's going to be an affiliated center.  

DO NOT FEAR.  THEY HAVE NO TEETH.  DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.  They are liars and unprofessional to boot.

Today's contact came from Angela Burdorf, who is listed as CEO of the collections agency, which also has an office in New York in case you're seeing calls from there.  She is now threatening, in a direct quote from her emails to me:

"Have a great day Chris I did also advised my higher ups to outsource your entire account to the middle east, see they have this wonderful way of collecting on past due balances, they submit your name , social security number, address and personal information to all of their partners and start calling you repeatedly until you pay or do not answer correspondence's anymore. I hope your experience with their company's are appreciated because you finally will be talking to someone in your same class.

Baseless useless threats preying on fear and racism is the hallmark of this company, never take their calls, never pay them anything, and send cease and desist letters at every opportunity.

We also recieved calls from these people, from several different numbers, and when I asked for them to send me something in the mail they refused saying they dont have to . Well that right there tells me its a scam. Because if it was truely ligite then they would mail something to you, and when you call them, they dont answer Jacob sherkman and associates they answer by their name SCAM!!!!

Beware they will tap familys phones to call you Mr Davis calls me everyday making threats, I hope one day this company gets what they deserve!!!!!!!!!    They are nothing but a fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!

My in-laws got a call from them looking for me, but using my maiden name (I've been married for 4 years).  Of course the in-laws are pissed, and I don't blame them.  I tried calling back and got no answer, but I'll try again later.
