- Snack| 1 replyMisty from this company called me wanting to collect a debt from 2007 which was placed under identification theft. I explained to her that we are filing for bankruptcy and wanted the address for Fitzgerald but she refused to give me that information. I know in the past they have called and threatened in the past from civil action to an arrest. They need to be reported every and any time someone gets a call from them. Just saying.

- PRUReport them to IC3 site by FBI. They use the same script as the Sante Fe Management co, going to arrest me and put me in jail. They never send anything and won't tell you what you owe. They need to be stopped. They have called people I know and tell them I'm going to jail. Everyone ban together report these jerks. They are horrible people looking for free money for who knows for what. When called they go you know. I'm coming down to serve you papers and you are getting arrested. I've done nothing that I know of. I'm confused.
I've not only reported them. I have voice mails threatening me saved and calls on home phone taped from them. I've got a law firm pursuing this number and hopefully I will collect from them or they will be arrested for harrassment and slander and I will press charges.- Caller: fitzerald goldman & Assoc.

- Fed up with SCAMS"Norman Strong" called me from this number identifying himself as a representative for Fitzgerald Goldman and Associates. He asked me if I remembered something from May 2011 and informed me that he had a copy of my driver's license that proves I am responsible for the debt. I informed him that he was calling me in the middle of the day at work asking me to recall my account history from 2 years ago and expecting that because he states he has a copy of my license, that I am supposed to cough up some sort of payment is ludicrous. He asked if I am refusing to pay so that he can document this "attempt to collect a debt" as a refusal. I stated that I am confused and cannot discuss documents that he claims to have that are not in front of me. He began raising his voice and talking over me, which I hope was recorded as he advised in the beginning of the conversation. I hung up because he would not allow me to complete my sentence.

- Not FooledA Allen Tanner called a few days ago demanding I pay for a debt. Would not say who the original creditor was, but threatened me with being served papers. Said he would mail a copy of the bill/original creditor information to me (never asked or confirmed my addressed) and email me a copy. Emailed copy is a misspelled Word document and I have not received anything in the mail.
I refused to pay with out the above mentioned information and was told I would be served with papers that night and that my paycheck would be garnished because he had already gotten the information from my employer. When I mentioned that only a court could legally get that information and it would be something that happened after a court date I was ignored. I was then placed on a brief hold and when "Allen" came back on the line he said they had made a mistake and to "Please disregard this matter".

- Just StopHave received many calls from this company - saying that they will service me papers. I have a police report reporting fraud out on these people. Norman Strong called and I told him that I have a police report out there, he is just trying to harrass people in giving them money. All a scam. Wish the authority could catch these people.

- SandraI got a call from a Ms.Miller from Fitzgerald Goldman and Associates who stated that she was calling about a civil complaint being filed against me from a client in my county. She did tell me that it was about a payday loan I had with company called paydayloanyes from 2009. I did have a loan with the company before but it had been paid off. I advised her that I had already paid this off but needed to find my paperwork. I am not sure where my paperwork is because it has been awhile and I do not want to pay on something that I have already paid off. I also see where everyone is saying this is a scam.

- John MeyerReceived a message on my recorder from the "Process & Summons Division" of "GMA" at 860-726-7969 left a voice message that there were 2 fraudulent charges pending against my social security number, and gave me a bogus case number. Of course I have no outstanding debts and great credit. I called back and spoke to a Holly Stevenson who stated the name of their company is "GMA" or Goldman & Associates in Texas. I explained that I have no outstanding debts, provide me with whatever you have, and further explain to her that it is illegal per the Fair Debt Collections & Practices Act to leave messages of outstanding debts on an answering machine, especially when you are implying I have committed fraud.
Holly Stevenson refused to provide any information on this 'alleged debt' and wanted to know my social security number & date of birth, which I refused. I told her that what they were doing is illegal & criminal, and that I reported the information to the Phoenix FBI (which I did prior to calling back). Holly Stevenson stated that "You don't f**king scare me at all"; the "sh*t is going down now on your white ass when I send out my ni**as on you" ?? Crazy! I researched further and learned actually Fitzgerald, Goldman & Associates, Inc., based in Hunt Valley Maryland. Their statutory agent for service is Leon Martin, located at 1531 Sunswept Drive, Bel Air, Maryland 21015. I am glad I recorded the entire call which I informed her at the beginning of the conservation; oddly enough, it did not make a bit of difference. The recorded conversation was also forwarded as an addendum to my complaint filed with the FBI, which they take as a legitimate threat against my person, and as a hate crime.
I have been in credit & collections for professional & publicly traded companies for 27 years and have filed over 12,000 lawsuits and have never lost a case. I have also ALWAYS followed the letter of the law and never stooped to such scumbag tactics. When you call someone for a debt, you first assess if the debt is legal & correct, politely/ professionally identify yourself, find out what the issue is as to why they have not paid and see if there is an arrangement that an be worked out. If not, then you go by your company's legal protocol and take whatever measures are available to you under the law (reporting to the 3 major credit bureaus, file a lawsuit int he proper jurisdiction, etc.); however, you don't do and leave frivolous messages implying fraud, implying a debt, or threatening someone with going to jail; or imply you are going to sue them unless you intend on following through with that threat, otherwise you can be sued for making false threats.
I just researched the Pacer database and there are many lawsuits against them and its Principals.
All these collection agency mills consists of are limp-dick attorney failures who could not cut it in any other area of law. They hire hire a bunch of uneducated, hard up, ignorant persons with very low self esteem, as collectors, teach them vague verbiage, pay them very little money + promised commissions, then push them in a very high pressure environment to met these quotas just to keep their jobs. These collectors get out of hand very easily and the supervisors, managers & attorney Principals claim ignorance that they did not know. However, the Principals are 'personally liable' in all matters when their little munchkin collectors break civil or criminal law. And I have watched these attorneys fold when they are before a judge or the state bar. They talk tough until you educate yourself, get the State Attorney General, the US Attorney General, Law Enforcement and their State Bar, and the monkeys fold like a wet noodle because they are spineless rejects who hide behind other people & believe they have the protection of their corporate shield; well guess what? When they break a civil or criminal law (or their people do), the corporate shield is gone, and the Principal Attorney and Owners are personally liable, regardless of whether they knew or not .. and believe me they know what their people are doing & profit from it. Most victims do not realize how much power you have over these scumbags, and most of them are bonded by a major Surety who will most likely defend them in a lawsuit and try to settle it.
I detest pond scum like this & I am thoroughly going to savor suing this company, its Principals & its Surety in Federal Court, as well as watching the FBI & US Attorneys' Office/ Dept of Justice take them apart. AND cashing their check when they pay my multi-million dollar Judgment against them.- Caller: GMA, Goldman and Assocs, Holly Stevenson
