They keep calling me every work day.

They never state the reason of why I need to call them.

They Called me saying I owed a debt to a hospital for the amount.  The bill is paid and have reciept for it so I called the hospital they said it has zero balance .  I said then quit sicken your dogs after me when I paid in FULL.  She didn't know what to say when told her they called at 4 in morning and have contacted attorney not only to file charges against the agency but the hospital as well.

I get calls everday and they ask for people that do not live at our number and when I tell them that they get snotty with me.  Like I am not the one they are looking for and I have asked repeatly to remove my number from their list.  I do not owe anyone that I would have debt collectors calling. I am guessing they are wanting money.

This number belongs to CREDIT CONTROL a nickle dime collection agency. This are assuming everyone is receiving an income tax return and they can made up.  I am including their numbers and since they enjoy harassing people how are struggling tune the tide, burn their phone numbers up.

Collection Agencies have paid much money to learn how to annoy you.  use their tactics on them. *67 them about 50 times a day .  If everyone on this board follow suit and attack a collection agency this will think long and hard about disturbing people's lives.

These people are driving me up the damn wall and I'll tell you what, if he gets snotty with me one more time before providing me with a name of the idiot I had the pleasure of speaking to I'm gonna lose it. Funny how the minute you mention harrassment due to VERY early calls/continuous calling they hang right up. Calls from 12:19AM until 5:33AM rang out, four hour break, then from 10:00AM until 10:00PM every 90min or so they call.

Scammers.  I never answer calls I do not recognize.

Thanks to the comments, I realized that my cable service company had a number blocking feature.

Can these people report to your credit profile? I have a bill that was paid and the "uneducated cannot speak english cause I talk gangster and talk to you like you are a deadbeat" keeps calling me. His supervisor has told me they are researching but this clown keeps calling saying they are making a "decision" on my account today so I better pay..

This is credit control, they have many numbers and they change to try and get your to answer. I have a card that was never paid, however, in my state the statute is limitations is 6 years on a credit card debt and federally it is 7....both have which come and gone. I am not legally bound to this debt so I contrive to ignore them and add each new number to my blocked call app. Know your rights....they hate that! Also, all the people are rude!

This is the second time I got a call related to a lady named "May Mallory;" I have blocked the number that they called me from last when I left a message. I had to call the number back because of course they did not leave a voicemail. The young man who answered the phone was very rude I informed him that I was on the do not call registry and I would like to have my number removed he said that this is not a telemarketing call so I can't do that. He asked me what my number was and I told him he asked if I was May Mallory,  "I told him I was not.  He said that it's "a wrong number genius" and just hung up on me. On top of being annoying these people are rude.

Do Not Call List is crap. Why even sign up for it when you keep getting unwanted calls?

Debt collectors ARE lower than lawyers. But the fact is that you may need a lawyer one day to fight them off. I fought off two dishonest debt collectors myself, but after a third attempt I needed a lawyer to get the harassment to stop. Lawyers are neutral, it's the party they are being paid by who are the scum in some cases.
