Second time this company has called looking for adddess, phone number and place of employment for a friend of mine!  They need to stop calling me, otherwise there will be some chaos!

These people called today said I was a put as a relative reference for a someone that I don't even know. I don't owe money so I know it's not fishing for me. But now I want to know who is using me for a reference.

Received a call on 12/19/17 asking for information about my sister.  They wanted her phone number, address, and place of employment

The scum bags call sometimes a few times per day, one time I answered just to see wth  they wanted, so they ask about my ex wife, l kindly informed them that we had divorced 20 years ago, said that I have no idea how  to contact her, I also told them anyone that's stupid enough to loan her money get what they deserve, she has never entire her life paid a debt off or on time, it's just in her DNA, I understand that they want their money but I am not the answer.

I’ve gotten a call the last few days from them. I have no idea how they got my number, and when I call, they refuse to take my number off the list unless I give them my name. I asked why do they need my name AND social security number, and the lady replied “We just do.” Why the hell do they “need” my name and SSN to take my number off their damn list? They don’t.

They just called me asking if I know two different people who had both submitted my name and phone number as a reference

I have read all of the harassing complaints by a lot of CPS's Customers, Relatives and friends. They sound like they are not an "Above Board" lender. They prey on customers that are having trouble getting a loan therefore, they charge absorbent interest fees. I have a friend (actually an Ex-Wife) who acquired a loan with them and not only have they contacted me, they have contacted all of my family members asking for information of her whereabouts. She hasn't moved, Her billings are still being sent to her address and her phone number has not changed, yet the calls to my family members and friends persist. Sounds like to me, it is a Embarrassment tactic for collection purposes and should be reported and/or a class action lawsuit brought forth against them. I'm sure their tactics are illegal and all of their customers should rally together and put an end to a company of this nature.

Received a call, the caller identified herself but not the company, asking for the location my son. Nope, not sharing that with a company that doesn't identify itself. That has shady all over it.

They wanted another family members contact information. I refused to give out that information due to them not telling me the reason for the request.

These people have called me they've called my boyfriend. We pay cash for everything and have no outstanding debt. I don't know how they got our numbers. Anyone else get a call from these people that don't have a loan with them??

Just got a call from this number today and they were asking for someone and also speaking to someone I don't know. Seems like a scam.

They called you up, asked for someone you don't know and then managed to speak to them while you were on the phone? How?

If you tell them to not call you any more and that future communication is to be in written, and they call you again, you can report them.  Also if they are calling the wrong number, you can report them.

When giving advice you should know what you are talking about. You don't.

Report them to whom?

If they are a legit company, you can tell them to stop calling and all future communications will be in written.   This is applies to debt collectors.   You just need proof that you told them this when reporting them.  You can report them to the BBB.
