How dare this agency call and ask for information on someone I know nothing about.  However, even if I did know this person, I would never provide them with any information on anyone.  It seems to me that they are neglecting the law with regard to collections.  This company should have their license revoked for this sort of practice, annoyance and invasion of privacy.  I have an unlisted number and yet they obtained for their own purposes.
I goggled the toll free number and it came up as UCB even though the caller ID reflected number unknown.  Both this company and the company that hired them should cease from calling others in order to obtain information on anyone.  It is both disgusting, invasive and rude!

You get a life,you probably work there.  If they saved their money their spending paying these stokers, and started a financial program that would help those in dept because your right this is life and last time I checked it wasn't perfect and now, once hard working people, have debt,so you get a life and get real cause this is life, I don't know what kind of glass house you live in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from "Kathy" at "UCB" who would not disclose who they are. They wanted us to put a note on our neighbor's door to have them call her back (Kathy), at this number (plus ext.) because "Kathy" wasn't able to get in touch with said neighbor. I asked "Kathy" how they got OUR number and why they were calling us. "Kathy" asked if we were in the phone book. I said yes. She said it was public knowledge then that we were neighbors of this person she couldn't get in touch with. I said I couldn't help her, that she would have to find her own way of contacting our neighbor.

They called my phone looking for a relative that I haven't seen or even met....EVER.

Received message from this number for one of my co-workers.  His wallet was stolen a couple months back, and we figure that someone's been using his info illegally.

They called about a bill they claimed they were collecting for Sear's. We called Sear's and confirmed that our card has a $0 balance. Sear's also told us they have no record of this company as one of their collection agencies.  Called them back and told them not to call us any more and they told us the calls would continue. We suggested THEY call Sear's themselves to confirm what we told them. They called our daughter on her home phone, even though she is now married with a different name.

Actually with what you stated its in violation with the law. Debt collectors are using illegal conduct if they are contacting any person other than the debtor and the debtor HAS to provide permission to contact them at their place of employment.  Should the debtor report these actions to the consumer bureau it can cost the collection company a huge fine, a law suit, and or maybe termination of the company. ALL of these guidlines are stated in the Fair Debt Collection Act.

Got a call from this number.  They acutally left a vague voice mail, but it was enough to figure out who they are.  They were after the previous owner of my house (I bought it nearly 8 years ago).  They were trying to call someone that never even had the phone number that I have.  So obviously they are taking the effort to cross reference new phone numbers with the addresses they have listed, but not the effort to verify the current homeowner/resident.  Very annoying.

Got a call "Unavailable" on the Caller ID. They left a message for MY NEIGHBOR. So I called them to see what it was about. The lady identified the company and UCB collections. I told her that they had called me about my neighgbor and she asked if I would give her the message(!). I asked what it was about and she said "A private business matter" - So I talked to my neighbor (an elderly lady) and she said she had gotten the same call & her granddaughter was checking in to it. Her granddaughter was livid to hear that they had called a neighbor and threatened to sue. If nothing else, THAT should shut them up for a while.

these guys keep calling my house looking for some deadbeat. they never remove you from their lists.

Hell they called my X wife and I have been remarried over 20 years . Candace left her name and Reference # and phone number 888-520-1845. X wanted to know how they got her home number and why they would be calling about my wife?   I plan on filing a complaint and seek some legal advise
