Got a Call From on ID 888-561-8864... A RAPID MESSAGE SAYS THAT YOU NEED TO CALL 888-561-8861 OR THE COMMERCE BANK CREDIT CARD WILL STOP WORKING.  THE MESSAGE COMES ACROSS SO WICKED FAST, ITS A JOKE!

What bothers me is I'm calling TD Bank and the Credit Card Division's Phone Number is 888-561-8861.  Just the last number is different, and TD Bank confirmed that this is not their number at all anywhere in their system.  I called the number back from a Skype Net Line, and it picks up and says right away to "Enter your 16 digit account number."  RIGHT! LIKE THATS GOING TO HAPPEN ;-)  I feel bad for anyone who falls for this.

The dead give away is how fast they rattle off the information about the Card being deactivated followed by the phone number to call them back on...PLEASE DO YOUR THINK WE'RE THAT STUPID?!?!

If you have any real concerns about this, Just call the Main 24/7 Number for the now TD Bank at 888-561-8861 and they will confirm that this is a spoof to get your account numbers.

I contacted TD Bank and they confirmed that:
1. 888-561-8864 is their telephone number
2. they are making these credit card calls this week

So, it appears to NOT be a hoax.
