- Caller: Processor's office
- MJ replies to John LapusYes you should. I just finished dealing with them, and found they are not even a legal debt collector. I spoke to a parallegal at an attorney's office and they told me to report them to the Attorney General's office for my state. They are a fraudulant company and the address is a PO box UPS store. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY

- CV_P71| 2 repliesGot a call from this number as well harassing me about taking me to court. I knew I owed money for the credit card they were speaking of, but didn't know anything about all of this until my fiancee looked them up, and informed me about all of these posts, and what was going on. Looked them up on the BBB, and they're not accredited either. I should've ignored the call, but regardless, I'm tracking down my info, and to see if I was scammed. So far I'm considering which attorney would be best suited for this situation. Slightly ticked about it all too. They said they were from Asset Management Systems, or Asset Management something when they called me, but on here I'm seeing AGF. Which is it? The guy said his name was Ron, or Ryan Jones, and that they're based out of Lake Elsinore, California just like the AGF addresses are.

- Bubbles1109 replies to CV_P71| 1 replyI just got a call from them, they say AGF. I admit I owe the money but now I don't know what to do. He was so nasty, James Howlett was his name. He said I had 30 minutes to make calls and see if I could borrow the money.. Am very unsure about this
- SamThey filed a judgement against me over a relatives debt that I was not obligated for. The relative had the same name. They still call and harass me. I had to hire an attorney at my expense to get it removed. Can I sue them?

What do i do now? Im afraid i paid for something that wasnt true. He said I only had 1 hour to do all this or they would send out the legal court papers . I was so scared and honestly broke down in tears bc i was scared ab going to court. Now he is saying i have papers to sign and he would send them monday night via email. Its Thurs and I have been calling him since monday trying to get those papers to sign. Ugh i feel so stupid falling for this. What can i do now?

- AmyReceived a call last week and they have the wrong address/state for me. They said they were going to send an officer to my work to serve me. I told them I was willing to pay the debt but didn't have any information. I spoke with Ryan Jones and he finally emailed me some paperwork but I was skeptical so I googled them and everything comes up that it is a scam. And, they wanted payments sent overnight. I have contacted an attorney and am waiting to hear from them and they just contacted me again. Said they are going to go ahead and proceed with this and will be sending someone to my work. Who knows. I guess I will wait and see and handle it from that point. I tried giving them my home address to send something there but they didn't want to listen.
