- ScottThey call every day around 8am and then they will call later during the day. They never leave any messages and when I do pick up the phone, no one is their. Unfortunitly, I am a B of A customer.
- Caller: unknown
- Joseph McGonagleEver since BOA took over my Countrywide Home Mortgage account, I have received calls from this BOA number several times per week, and from a different number that also dials back to BOA.
It's very irritating. My home phone is already listed under the national DNC list. Poorly-run company or not, Countrywide didn't call me like this, and I didn't exactly ask to become a BOA customer--it just kind of happened.
On 5-20-09, I called BOA and asked to be removed from their "list." However the calls have not stopped. On 6-9-09, I answered one of their calls and, after explaining that I had asked them to stop calling me, I was asked "Why's that?"
That kind of set the Minnesotan pragmatist in me right off the edge. (That little sociopathic salespr--k, just who the f--- does he think he is?) I said "Because I don't like sales calls, I'm not in arrears, and I actually pay well in advance. I have no reason to talk to you right now, so take me off your list. Goodbye!"
Today, I answered the phone, and it was them again. I quickly said goodbye and I decided to file my first ever complaint with the FCC. I used the online form, which took about 5 minutes or so. (Have your caller ID log at hand--they like names, numbers, dates, times, etc.)
I hope enough people file an FCC complaint against BOA to make them investigate. Hopefully this new administration scares the crooked banks back onto the straight and narrow. (It's a lot to ask, I know.) - judith howell brealeyI receive several calls a day from this number. There is never anything on the answering machine and when I answer there is no one there. I am registered with National Do Not Call.

- ct residentJoseph McGonagle: same thing happened to me. i was also a countrywide homeloans customer & suddenly became a bank of america customer, also not by choice. being a countrywide customer, i was satisfied with their service and they also never stalked my phone. its insane how boa conducts business calling at all hours of the day, and really unfortunate for us, the consumers.

When they ask for someone else I am goint to say oh yes just a minute I will get them, then I plan to lay the phone down and go about my day. - Lisa BennettThis number calls day and night, all hours. It is very rude of them. It needs to stop now!!! If it has anything to do with Bank of America, I don't want anything more to do with them. I pay them enough money as it is. I was a Countrywide customer and did not choose Bank of America on my own.
- yeahcall over 100,000 times a day
- RichardI am so sick of these calls. Apparently, Bank of America's CEO is a complete moron or its board of directors consists of 8-year-old boys and girls. This is the best way to ruin customer confidence. Oh well, it's not the first American corporation to collapse thanks to crummy mismangement.
