pety bill collector nagging me over $7.50? if i owed it i would pay it, let them waste their time for less than 8 dollars

They call at 7am when they're not suppose to i have pictures to prove it! But i am added a list of alternate numbers they call from. Hopefully it can help people out! they're such scammers! the first thing they ask for is for my social! YEAH RIGHT! like I'm handing that over!

These people just called, left a message saying they were calling in reference to an address I left over 15 years ago.

They did not identify themselves and I can't imagine what they want but I won't be returning their call.

Got several calls from this company claimimg I owed some insurance company I've never heard of $1,200.  Called back to ask for more information and to dispute the claim.  Finally a "Chris Myers" from the legal department calls, accusatory tone, whole 9 yards, and says that he'll refer the claim to "the attorneys".  Total scam/crackpot collections group that hopes people will be scared into paying bills/debts that are not theirs.  Push back hard if they call you.

Just got the SAME EXACT call from the same person.  Trying to figure out who to call to report this abusive type of calling.

These people are the most obnoxious group of all time.  They must be trained to be arrogant and rude and it wouldn't be so bad if they had correct information.  When you don't owe anybody any money and your credit rating is close to 700, they look a little ridiculous.  They never tell you they are a collection agency, they pretend to be an insurance company or a department store or wherever they think you owe money.

Called 12/26/2012.  Asked for a member of my household by name.  When I said, "Who is calling?" The male voice responded with an evasion.  When I repeated the question, he hung up.

Called looking for someone I've never heard of. Had to press the woman for their company name. Lady hung up and called back, tried saying she called a different number the second time around.

I was very disappointed in 'Chris Myers', professional attorney review manager.  After numerous attempts to collect a debt that I proved to 'Chris' does not exist, he promised me in a voicemail that this would be the last time I would hear from him because there were some nasty things he was goint to do to me.  'Chris' failed to live up to his promise.  He called me AGAIN after he said he had called me for the last time!  'Chris', I am disappointed in you.  You told me it was the last time you would call, yet you called again.  How can I ever trust you again?  Our relationship will never be the same.

Just got a call from a man asking if my son was a minor.....and would tell me where he was calling from or which client he was calling on behalf of......then mentioned to me that since I was not giving him my name (as the father of son'sname) I was in violation of regulations of the Unites States of America...then hung up.

I can't figure out the business model though of their scam.

This company has rude, child-like men collecting debts who are acting like they are attornies. They are high school grads with bully complexes who need a course in professional ethics. Each one is nastier than the next especially a Jesse and an over inflated person with a Napoleon complex named Chris. Horrid behavior.

This company is run by buffoons. There is a Jesse and a Chris that define are at best high school grads with attitudes to boot. The are loud, nasty, won't let you get in a word. They name call and character assinate without knowing you or your situation. Shame on this company for employing these idiots. Check out the LinkedIn on Chris.....what a joke. Looks like his high school degree is getting him far. Many jobs not lasting long in one place......gee I wonder why!

I never called them back but they did leave a message.  They also left a file number in reference and an extention.  After reading this I won't call back.  I do have some very old small debt about 10 yrs old and thought maybe i should but checked the number first and saw all the responses.  They are calling my work number which is even worse and it's my direct line.  They can keep calling I just won't answer any calls for awhile and only call those who leave a message.   Thanks everyone as I may have called otherwise but the comments have changed my mind.

Had a message left on our answering machine today, Patty called and said she was a debt collector and I should call back with a reference number she left. She didn't ask for anyone by name or say who she represented, and since we have a generic canned message, it didn't give any clues to our identity. I'll wait and see if Jesse or Chris call, nah. I'll just block their number. Thanks for the previous heads up to this scammer.

This number called me and hung up when I answered.  So I called them back and asked them why they called me and hung up.  I was sent to collections through Regence Blue Shield.  I already sent them a check but was pissed they could call me and then hang up.  When I called they say they are just GBC, but I know its GB Collects because I got a notice in the mail.  It was a legit charge that I had to pay but call people and then hang up?!  

they've been calling me for a month or so now. I refuse to speak to them by phone. I finally got a letter from them last week. I very politely asked for payment of a debt Blue Cross Blue Shield thinks I owe. I don't owe it but I don't want to try and explain why to a 3rd party with no idea what's going on other than just to collect the debt. So I wrote a letter to dispute the debt and mailed it today. GB Collects can go back to BCBS and get all the documentation together to send to me. Maybe in the process they (BCBS) will figure out they screwed up and I don't owe this debt. We'll see.

BTW, when they call they leave a message on my machine. Its always the same woman. She's always very professional and always reads off the disclaimer about calling to collect on a debt and that if whoever is listening in is not me to hang up the phone. There's a pause then goes on and assumes because the machine didn't cut off, I'm listening in and goes on with her message. Pretty funny. The call is clearly answered by voice mail with a generic "canned" outgoing message. There are no names mentioned in the outgoing message to give the caller any indication who they're calling with the exception of my caller ID. My number isn't blocked.
