This is banfield the pet hospital.

They called us to get updated cc info when ours expired and the automatic bill payments weren't going through correctly.

I've been getting calls from this number, with automated voice mail messages starting in mid-sentence with no identifying info -- in other words, not the kind of call you would usually return. I learned on this site that it was Banfield. They were trying to get updated CC information (after repeatedly mailing notices to me at a totally fictional address -- thats another story). I did tell them about the problem with their automated response system.

This number is from Banfield's wellness plan billing department. It isn't necessarily debt collection, they're just the ones who call you when the card you're using to bill your plan is no longer valid, or there were insufficient funds for one or more attempts. I recommend going to one of their stores to fix this problem. If you handle it over the phone, they might charge you a $40 late fee if you're really behind, whereas the store will usually waive it if you're not mean to them or something.

Yes. I am aware I am behind one month on Banfield so this could be them. I also pay in person so they don't have a CC to charge. This number calls me every seven days

Banfield Pet Hospital did not care for my dachshund. Kept telling me that it was normal that my dog didn't want to eat, losing weight was ok. He went from 16pounds to 7. Was dying and in organ failure. I finally took him to a different vet who diagnosed him with Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency and started him a medication immediately.  Banfield Hospital is a JOKE and I would not recommended it to anyone that cares about their animals.

I worked for Banfield for 7 months. They're not professional like a private hospital is and their prices are outrageous. Rip offs. Most of the staff also acts cocky.

They called twice and didn't leave a voicemail. I don't answer unknowns out of precaution, but call back if there is a voicemail or I google the number. I googled the number this time to find out it was Banfield. When I called back, the corporate office told me to check with my local hospital because they hadn't called me. Called the local hospital and they said it wasn't them either. Long story short, be careful if the number calls you! Best way to make sure you get the right people on the phone is to tell whoever is on the line that you will call them back at your convenience, so you can call and make sure it really was Banfield and not a spoofed caller.

Maybe they misdialed, but I've never taken my pets to Banfield. After see the messages here & people stating that they're being asked for cc info sounds very suspicious to me. Scammers can use phoney caller ID. Hope no one is getting fradulent charges on their cc.
