I tried calling this number back, it was a fax machine!
I think it is a collection agency, but they don't
leave messages, so what's the point?

These people are killing me!  They call all the time, and even when I claim to be the person they want, I still can't get through.  What can I do???

They keep calling our company number and fax,,,they need to be stopped

The call came at 8:10am...too early for any call to a home.  I called the number,and after about 12 rings was answered by RPM (Receivable Performance Management), a collection agency. Evidently they put you on their call list if your name sounds or remotely looks like a person they are seeking.

Keep getting calls from this number for someone we don't know, but have the same last name.  When we call back, we get a recording that the number has been disconnected and no longer in service, yet, it is the same number on the caller ID.

RPM has been calling me since October, Sprint sent my cell phone bill to them and RPM gave me a "hardship" and lowered my bill but never sent any information to Sprint.  My bill has been cleared since late November but I keep getting calls, one time they said they had no information about me and the next time they knew everything about me.  Another number for them is 425-354-1554, I have told them to stop calling me when they called from this number and even faxed them info showing my paid bill and then they started calling from the 888-865-2859 number.  I get them every other day.

I found this on another website and got them to stop calling me by telling them to remove my number:

"Update - The number has been traced to Receivable Performance Management in Bothell, WA ( a collection agency). Call them at 866-212-7408 and have them take your number off their list. Hope that helps."

I received a call from them, too, and didn't have any idea about what it was.  They kept asking me my name and I refused to tell them until they told me who they were.  Finally, the agent on the phone told me to "grow up" and hung up on me.  I traced them back and reached up in the org to their Director of Operations, Robert (Bob) Polus.  His direct # is (425) 984-6249.  rpolus@receivablesperformance.com.  Good luck, everyone.

i am pretty sure this is a scam they wanted payment over the phone and refused to give thier address or to send letter with information on the alleged debt

They actually told me to "have a blessed day".  What a joke...I'm reporting them to my state AG.
