MetLife Insurance customer survey (automatic callback after you call them for any reason). Since the idiots refuse to identify themselves on Caller ID when they call, I refuse to participate in their customer satisfaction survey (since it's just an irritation, anyway).

MetLife should not be calling back automatically or otherwise and disguising themselves as an anonymous toll-free-number. This is shady, if not shoddy business practice. Get a Life, Met.

Just received call from this number - Display says 800 Service.  Did Not Answer as I don't answer to numbers I don't know, but found out on line it is Met Life.  I just hung up from placing a call to Met Life. So, maybe it is an automatic customer survey.
Who knows?  All these calls are annoying, and they don't go away.

They keep calling but never leave a message. Don't feel like being bothered by Telemarketers so I don't answer. If it's legit, I would call them back.

I've had the same experience as all the others above have related. I called Metropolitan Life with an issue earlier today, and tonight they've called 3 times without any identification on my caller ID except the "888" number.  I don't answer calls when the identity of the caller is unknown - figure they will leave a message if they really need to talk to me. I wouldn't even have know it was Met Life but for the information posted on this site.  In most cases when I get an unidentified caller - as happened today - no message's left but they just keep calling. VERY ANNOYING!

These types of calls are ridiculous.  U would think the business would get a hint when no response. Most people don't answer or block the calls.

Same as above - MetLife trying to call back. They are better off without my survey results - it would be a negative number if that were possible. Bounced around to 5 different numbers, waiting on hold endlessly on three of them - all to try to make a simple address update that could not be done online. Ridiculous. Can't report them to FTC as I do business with them.

I got 2 calls today from this number.  There was no identification and no message, but if this is MetLife, I am disappointed.  They recently handled a claim of mine and did it promptly and  efficiently.  But if they want a survey, it should be done by e-mail or snail mail.  I do not participate in anonymous telephone surveys.  Perhaps this was a scam by some other entity posing as MetLife.

Minutes after I wrote the above comment, I got another anonymous no-message call from this number.  What the heck?!

I had called MetLife with a quick question on my policy. About an hour later I got a call from this number. There was no option to decline the call or send to voicemail, and they did not leave a voicemail when I did not answer the call. I kept getting additional calls (with the same no caller ID, no option to decline/send to voicemail, and no voicemail left), for every two hours thereafter until I blocked the number after the third call and some quick Googling (which brought me here).

No message ever. Looked up the number and it appears to be a customer service line for a survey. Changed my coverage from my work phone on my lunch break now the calls won't stop. I am working so I cant answer survey questions during regular working hours.

I did call Met, so it makes sense they would call, but I have answered their 2 calls and instantly been hung up on.  They must not want to talk to me that badly.

Just hung up on a call after talking to Met Life. Did not pick up the call, but seems to confirm what has already been stated. What an annoyance. I have blocked their number.

MetLife survey callback. Block the number in your phone. Problem solved. Not sure why there is all this fuss in prior comments.
