I, too, have got a call (just one so far).  The message said it was coming from "Vacation Services."  I called the 888 number (that was left on my phone), let them know that I am on the "do not call" list and requested they not call me in the future.  The man who answered was polite enough saying that my name would be removed (it might take a few days).  I shall see, if this is the last I hear from them... color me skeptical.

My wife got a robocall from Great Vacations now servicing South Florida touting a no-obligation, nothing-to-buy cruise for 2 for 4 nights/5 days or 1 or 2 bedroom condo in one of their 100 luxurious 4-star resorts for 7 nights/8 days. They asked to call back at 888-886-3606.

Received several robocalls from Olin or Owen of Great Vacations. Number given is 888-886-3606. Each call stated they were located in various local cities near our residence in an attempt to make you think you are dealing with a local company. But, as you can see by this list of complaints, they have no physical location that you can visit and see their faces. Probably for good reasons to avoid prosecution and fines. We are on both the national and Florida don't call list. If you notice, telemarketers attempt to scam the don't call lists by using robo calling so you cannot cut off their stupid sales pitches. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!! I read somewhere that even if 1% of the people they call give them a credit card number, they steal enormous amounts of mony by raiding your card by charging large amounts, you will NEVER get it back, and you will end up having to CANCEL your card.
Keep reporting this company to the Federal Trade Commission and your state commercial fraud lines. Maybe the people behind these rip-offs will join Bernie Madoff in a Federal Prison.

I listened through the recording, pressed "1" to speak with "Dorothy," and asked for her number. She gave me 888-886-3606, x119. She said she'd be in from 9 to 3. I asked what time zone. She said, "Florida." She said it was about 8:15 where she was, so I knew it was EST.

I want nothing more to do with this company. They have violated the do-not-call policy, using a recorded message before offering a live contact. I've reported it to donotcall.com.

"Vacation Services" has also made unlawful calls to Rhode Island-- same scheme as others describe.  If you are on the do-not-call list, I encourage you to report any violation.  If enough people complain, hopefully some action will be  taken.

A funny side note: The losers at "Vacation Services" should at least learn how to pronounce the names of the cities where they claim to have opened an office!  What a give away that they simply mention the name of a large town near where they are calling into at the moment, to try to make themselves seem more legit.

Olin called me twice last night.  Two calls back to back at about 10:45pm.  He called again this morning around 10:30am.  The message  he left was about a free 8 day cruise or condo stay.  I think I was more bummed that I was awaked by their "unknown" calls then their silly attempt to get me to give them any info.  The whole message sounded like a scam and I find it is.  Sad.

They just called in Hillsborough County, FL.  I now know not to fall for the fly-by-night company that is wanting a credit card to hold charges against.  Same 8/7 day cruise or 2/3 flight.  And yes, am on the do not call list!  We need to show these companies they can't ignore the law.

Got a recorded message same old garbage about a vacation. The caller was William and they were opening a new office in a large city near me. Company name was Elite Promotions. I'm on no call list too.

Olin also just opened Elite Promotions in Huntsville, AL. He has robo called my cell 4 times, although I'm on the DNC registry. He must be a busy guy!

Elite Promotions called me. I am on the DNC list and have been for years. Why is this happening and why doesn't GOV do something about them????

I keep getting these calls saying I have won a free vacation for 7 days and nights at no cost to me. It shows up as 'Withheld'.  I am sick of these people.

I got a call from William Elite Promotions, grand opening in Toledo/Columbus Ohio area.  Offering a free flight anyway in the US including Hawaii, or an 8 day 7 nights stay in a 4 star condo, listed several cities, Orlando, Miami, Gatlinburg, etc.  No obligation, nothing to pay or buy just call 888-886-3606, but the number dialed from was 813-425-0080.  Call now ASAP, you have been chosen, etc.  Same crap, almost fell for it and called back, but you know the old saying "Anything too good to be true...usually is."

I receive a call from this number about once a month saying I won a free vacation.  I've reported them several times on the Do Not Call list yet they still call.  This time they said they just opened a new office in Pensacola and to celebrate I won a free trip.
