Just spoke with them. It is definitely Bill Me Later

they call several times they don't leave a message I called the number back and they said they were from bill me later he first asked me to verify my birthdate and social security number which I would not give him I logged into my bill Me Later account and there were no notices and my bill was paid on time as I knew it had been.. I'm thinking it is a scam

I get calls from these bozos all day, every day...never leaving a message.  Im debt free and have no credit cards or credit accounts...so I know it's not a debt collector.  Just ignore and block...best way to deal with them, most likely a scam

I returned call and it was Bill Me Later checking on a missed payment. Legit. No scam.

Incidentally,  wouldn't be surprised if this number was related to collections for Bill Me Later, paypal, and ebay (related companies) ?

Also, she was able to look up my account details using phone number and email address.

I just called it back and it is BILL ME LATER but it was for my kid so they changed the phone number.  Now the kid can listen to her cell ringing  constantly.

Today  I received a call from this number..via #69.    My son died Oct.3... It was for him... a little late.They would  not give anymore info...

It is PayPal Credit. Just called them back. Used to be Bill Me Later.

Repeated missed calls from this number, can't call it back and they leave no message

It is a fraudulent debt collection company attempting to tell us that we are late on payments and owe hundreds of dollars to our credit card company. We think they may have gotten this number during a yahoo email hack.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!

I can vouch that it is "Bill Me Later" cuz i did forget to make a payment. Others are correct that this number does not leave any form of a message stating who it is. I've missed a payment in the past and they called, but from a different number, I have to date four different phone numbers in my database their computers utilize to make these calls. ((wanna keep us on our toes, i guess))

But if it's bill me later or PayPal why are they calling me? I've never used any of those things in my life and don't plan to. So how am I supposed to believe it's not a scam?

There is a caller that says "hello, hello...."   Question:  "Is HELEN there...."   The caller was encountering a reply from a tape that asks the caller for information. The usual responsive telephone protocol from the caller is missing.  I  presently have three interpretations:  (1) The caller asks as if the caller were using a very early telephone system (two cans connecting through a wire) anc the protocol is to ask for the recipient of the call by name. The caller is not receiving the reply from the tape.  (2) The caller as if the recipient of the call were a life-time acquaintance; there is a special informal protocol for those callers.  (3)  The caller is guilty of promoting false imagery.  In this last case, there is a monitoring system on the telephone that tapes interactions; another member of the family is answering while the monitoring system tapes.  The question is from another member of the family asking whether HELEN is on the line answering the call.  After investigating a particular case that was similar, the caller was a non-profit corporation raising money for a fire $epartment.  There has not been an investigation of this situation other than to notice, from the result of using a www search engine, that number 888-895-5641 has an association to calls where the caller is not submitting enough information.

This number has been calling me 5 or 6 times a day for about 3 weeks now. I finally answered and they asked for my son saying they are from Paypal and they could not give me any information. My son contacted Paypal directly about the call and was told Paypal or Bill Me Later is NOT calling from this number. The last time they called I asked the woman to please stop calling me and she said she would remove my number.....we'll see. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE FROM THIS NUMBER YOUR PERSONAL or PAYPAL ACCOUNT INFORMATION!

they call me every day at least 3-5 times starting at 8am ,all the way to 10 pm, even on Sunday! If I answer, they hang up..if I let vm get it they never leave a message. SO sick of this type of call!!!!! >:O

This number is associated with a fraudulent debt collection network.

this is PayPal Credit... they called for a few days without leaving any messages. I picked up the call this morning.
