Got a voice mail from this number stating that there is suspicious activity on my card.  The guy's voice sounded a little funny/ monotone so I called Citizen's directly instead of calling this number back.

Turned out it's legit. My old card expired and I just got a new one so I changed the info on some of my automatic payment plans.  One of them did a $1 charge to see if the new card is legit and Citizen's thought it was fishy so they flagged it.

My husband got a call from this number, saying that the caller (John) is from Charter One bank and has an FYI on one of our accounts... Left this number to call back. Now I am confused.

Got a call from this number claiming to be citizens bank fraud department. Called back and the caller was able to tell all the recent and outstanding transactions. So appears to be valid.

Got a call from "Citizens Fraud" sounded fishy and so did the guy but it was legit. Flagged a $1 charge and froze my card. Expedited a new card

Hi I am an employee of the citizens bank card fraud department. That is our number. If you're ever uncomfortable call the number on the back of your card and they can transfer you to us. Hope this helps!

Legit. Called saying there was suspicious activity on my card. Turns out there was.
My card was apparently skimmed and someone tried to use it. No money lost and a new card was issued.

Received a voice message from Mike at Citizens Bank asking to call back at 888-910-2500. I called the number and the auto answering service indicated it was Citizens Bank Fraud department. A representative name Nick asked for my card number. I was a bit uneasy so he said that there may be suspicious transactions on my account. He said that if I am not comfortable giving him my card information, I can call the number on back of my card and request transfer to the fraud department. The bank was suspicious about an out-of-state ATM transaction which fortunately turned out to be a valid one made by me. Though I was nervous about the call being a potential scam, I was relieved that it was legitimate and that Citizens Bank was being proactive.

We thought this was a scam but it wasn’t.  It was Citizens Bank fraud dept calling someone tried to make $1800 purchase on my daughter’s card.  They canceled her card right away.  Thank goodness!  I’m glad it looked this up online thanks for all of your posts.
