Trashed it!! Called number and nobody at extension 801. Think I'll turn it over to city hall.

It was left in everyones mailbox when i checkes this morning....i live in an apartment so i know damn well that not everyone has a pending investigation. Its a scam and its a stupid one.

Left tag case number on door and phone number . Called and guy said they were looking for person . Never heard of person and live in small neighbor . Have lived here for years . Said it was a repo ! Looking for person ?  No one that name has ever lived here ! And I live way out of town ? A scam I think ! Called police

Tag left on my door from UAR to call this number. No info other than a case number in very poor handwriting. I don't have any debt or legal problems that this should be left for me.

Someone from UAR (United Auto Recover) left a card labeled with the last name Neblett, Case # 13100198.  The card instructed us to contact the Legal Department at 888-933-8408 regarding a pending investigation. I contacted the Walton County Sheriff's Office. They sent a Deputy out to talk with me. He called the number on the card. A woman named Margaret answered the phone. She asked if I were Steven Neblett.  ( last name on the card). I informed her that I did not know Ashley or Steve Neblett.  After convincing her that I did not know these people, neither was I the party. She informed me that they would invalidate my address and they would not return. We shall see.  It was a pleasant surprise to know that UAR is a legit company!

I had a hanger on my front door. I called the number and it went to a recording that said the person at extension 803 isn't available. I didn't leave a message.

Same as me. Been in my. We place a month and I had it on my doorknob when I left to take my son to the bus stop. Creeps me out.

Went to residence pretending to be FBI. That's a crime to betray as an officer of the law.

Someone hung a note on my door today from UAR said to call 1-888-933-8408 it was about a pending investigation I call twice got voice mail said extension 806 was unavailable please leave a message I hung up have no clue as to what this is or about. No name of company

I also received the pending investigation notice on my door. Saw all your comments and have not called about it. No way anything at my house is up for repo!  Scam for sure!

UAR pending investigation door hanger.  Have no idea what this is.  Goggled it and appears to be an suto repposser.  My cars are either paid off or current with payment.

At 9:20 A.M some dude came by and hung a flyer on my door and said, "Please contact us at 8889338408 regarding an urgent pending matter". I decided to call them with *67 because I figured that this was a prank. When I called, it took a while, but a machine replayed about someone being unavailable. Guess this is a prank.

Got a UAR door hanger last night. Contrary to all other posts mine had a local number and a guys name to contact. It also had the persons name they wanted to talk to written on the hanger. I called the number (blocked my # by hitting *67) person answered and I told him that the name listed doesn't live here now. He told me thanks for the info and they would not be back here. He said sometimes they have old info to go on. He was pleasant to me so I returned the same. The repo business is not a line of work I would do but someone has to do it. Very dangerous to come up to my house in the middle of the night.

Got a door hanger from UAR with a case number for pending investigation. We get stuff for the former tenants all the time. I hope a call to them will stop the nonsense.

I looked it up it could be Auto recovery but it is not look it up again and you will see what it really means turn it In to the FBI
