I got an alert email with this number a few hours after opening an account. I'd suspect malware but I opened the account in person. They're certainly efficient scammers.

I received 2 back to back emails. It is a very good scam because they copied exactly what the bank would say to you about your security settings. Always check out the phone number before calling anyone back. That's why we have security settings with TD Bank to keep you scammers from hacking us!!!!

Received an email saying my TD password had been changed. No way did I change it. So called the 1888-937-002 number and was greeted by a very English speaking very confident person named David who reassured me this was a legitimate TD support phone number out of Austin Maine. Not sure there is an Austin Maine but while on the phone I did a search of the phone number and saw it was a scam. PLEASE do not fall for these sweet talking very reassuring thieves they will screw you without any enjoyment on your part. Karma will get them

Got an email first with notification that I was a signer on a document package. link in email looked like it went to an esigntature portal on td's site. was addressed to me, full name, all caps, but with 'JR' at the end. not a junior.

Got two emails from alerts@td.com (looked legit) except for this phone number 1-888-937-0002
Called the number and got a very nice english speaking woman. first question she asked was for SSN and I dont have any TD Checking accounts. Seemed very suspicious to me with 'JR' in my name in the addressed email. I am not a junior.

This just happened to me. Alerts@tdbank.com. Three emails one after another. First was online banking password. Second was security setting change. Third was security email change. All with this number to call 888-937-0002. I called the number on the back of my card instead. Beware scams!

Got 2 emails from alerts@td.com. First one said my password had been changed. Second one said my security phone number had been changed. Email did not have the green background images from other TD emails.
I logged into my account. Password worked. Recovery phone number was still the same one.
These scammers are getting better and better!

Maybe they are monitoring somehow because after changing my info they emailed me saying that it was changed. Very scary. But I always check phone numbers for authenticity first. Knowing that they're watching your every step is very alarming.
