- judygiven this number by someone saying that needed me to sign papers. would come to my workplace since they couldnt reach me by phone. said have id & your supervisor or security guard. if they see me at work then they will go to my home. ended the call saying I had been "notified". worse yet, they called my neighbor & left the same message. no idea who or what this is about
- Anon.| 1 replySame message as above, wont say where they are from or what it is about. Call the number and they can tell me. Something credit solutions can't make it out when I called back. They called my cell 5 times in 2 minutes. Then called my employer. Told not to call employer again. We will see.

- KAREN K replies to Anon.Got the same call twice. The first time they called, they said I would be served in 72 hours. Called the next day saying that i would be served tomorrow 4/25 and to make myself available. They also mentioned the above about the ID and supervisor. I believe the whole supervisor thing is a scare tactic. Due to the privacy act, they cannot disclose your your personal information to anyone else. I am going to call them back when I get off of work to see what it is all about.. people must understand that as the debtor you still have rights and they can not scare you etc. They also must supply you with written documentation of any debt that they are trying to collect from you.. they can't just call and say you owe money - send it! I had someone call me about an old acct that had beed paid off years ago.. but they still tried to say I owed them money. i told them that I keep receipts from all payments that I make as well as my bank statements. I told them I would call them back with the information the next day... i called and left a message letting them know that I had the information that showed I owed nothing, and I haven't heard from them since. Isn't that funny how they can call and harrass you, but when you have proof they won't call you back. People, I know times are hard and sometimes we let debts fall to the waste side, because we have more pressing bills, like house payments, etc; but make sure that you know the statue of limitations for old credit cards, personal loans, etc. They are time lengths on these types of things; where they cannot collect. However, at anytime you make a payment acknowledging that debt, the time starts from that date of payment. Always search for what you need to know about debt, it's out there; and will help you in the long run. i am not saying to rack up debt and have not intent on paying it back, and then find loopholes to get out of it, but things happen that cause us to fall behind on things.
- LYN| 2 repliesI got the same call last week and ignored it, then I get a call today from a pay phone. I spoke to the guy and he said he needed to serve me papers and said it was coming from Credit Solutions but couldn't give no more info and gave me a number to call to see if they could stop the action or set something up. I called 8889591022, spoke to a guy can't remember his name, then gave the phone to Julia Hendryx. She said Cash Net USA was taking me to court for an unpaid loan from 2009 and it's $3000. But loan was actually for $250. I guess the rest was just fee's. So Julia said I can settle if U pay $209.95 today. I paid the bill because the guy that called from the pay phone was right down the street from me and right by my job. Otherwise I would of said screw you and hung up. So those of you that are getting calls, you might want to check into why there calling. I believe the serving paper thing he was on his way to my house. He was calling to make sure I was here... I would for sure check into why there calling and who there representing.

- yeahright replies to LYNWho calls from a pay phone nowadays. All couriers have cell phones. I guess their scare tactic worked because you gave them a payment.
- DeeI've gotten the same call 4 times in the last 3 days from 2 different people, but they were looking for some other wonan. They both said that they were going to serve papers that need to be signed and they were also going to come to the job first, and then try home. When I tried reaching 888-959-1022, there was a prerecorded message that said that the number I dialed couldn't take calls from my area code. WTF?!
- ALICIA| 1 replyI got the same call about coming to serve me papers. Unfortunately, my name and information was leaked as part of a payday loan scam. This company is just one of many that calls me every two weeks. I have told them several times to feel free to serve me, and my lawyer will be happy to look it over.
Guess what!!! No one ever serves me, and they always try, and get me to settle out of court. This is a scam...Do not settle out of court. If you were being sued, you would not be hearing of it for the first time on a phone. They get nicer, and smarter with every call.
But I can promise I will never give them a penny!!!- Caller: MEDIATED CREDIT SOLUTIONS
- ALICIA replies to LYNYou should never settle. They will reinvent themselves, and call you again in the future. Don't give them anything else. Big scam
- JasonTX| 3 replies!!SCAM ALERT!! My wife unfortunately fell prey to this scam. I am posting to let others know what they are saying.
They called my wife's cell phone twice and left a voice mail. The woman who called said her name was Maria Brown. Maria said she was a local courier in the area and had received documents in her office about an hour ago. She needed to serve those papers at my wife's work on on Monday (today is Friday) She told my wife her supervisor would have to be present and if she could not serve her at work, she would serve her at home. Then, she left a phone number of 888-959-1022 to call to get the serving stopped and gave a filing number to reference. That phone number was to a company supposedly called Mediated Credit Solutions
My wife called this number and spoke to Jason Castillo at extension 308. He told her she owed $3336.82 to Cashnet from a payday loan in Jan 2009. If she was willing to settle today, they would not serve the papers and would settle for $762.27. When he was told no, he offered a payment arrangement of $200 today plus $9.95 payment fee with 3 monthly payments to follow. My wife asked him for documentation. He said it would take 3-5 days for an email and she would still have to be served at work. He said the office was closing in 30 minutes and if she didn't make payments arrangements today, she would have to be served on Monday. (nothing like a high pressure closer). My wife did at least haggle him down to a payment of $150 which was charged to my credit card under " NCW BILLING CHEEKOWAGA NY"
I hope this helps someone out there keep from getting scammed.- Caller: Mediated Credit Solutions

- momofalandriahI received the same calls last week and again today. I've had these before too. If you are ever worried that you are being served, contact your local court system or check online. If you are being served, there will be an open file against you with all of the real info. Mine for Wisconsin- I just search Wisconsin Circuit Court Access and it pulls up all court records.

- CADo NOT send them any money! I called and questioned why they continue to call my place of employment and to give them my official notice to stop calling me They transferred me 3 times and I finally got to who they called a "supervisor". Hekept asking for my social security number, and I told them I don't even know who they are, and just need them to stop calling me. Why would I give a complete stranger my social? They said it was in regards to a loan, and did someone come and serve me papers. I asked what county they filed these "papers" at, since I checked and my county has NO records of papers. I asked them for the case number they were provided by the clerk. They couldn't give me the information, because it is just a scare tactic. Most countieshave a way you can search for your name to see if a case has been filed against you. I kept insisting I speak to someone that can take me off the call list, and they said they don't make outgoing calls from that office. I said I called this number that they left me....just a bunch of bull and excuses. I told them what they are doing is illegal, and they should be aware of the Fair Credit Act. They actually hung up on me...LOL...Hopefully I won't be hearing from them again. They use the word summons, attorney, serve you with papers, etc. just to scare people.

- LILLYHi,
I received the same call from the a person called Kim McCallister twice now, to my cell. The only thing the say on the voicemail is that have been notified and that on Monday a Proces Server would be coming to my employeer to served me with the papers. Also to have a ID and supervisor present. I did check my local court system and nothing shows up. I just think that if some one has already filed a lawsuit against you the filing should already be available in the court web site ( don't you think). I would post again on Monday the 7th and check see if in fact they show up?!!??- Caller: 888-959-1022

- this is stupidReceived the same call. About a month ago they were calling posing as FBI agents, attorneies. etc. At that time they said they were calling from BCR. Same people different phone number and company. Google Mediated debt solutions no company. Unfortunatley according to the local police department, District's Attorney's office, Public Defender since this fake there is nothing that can be done. Do not send any money. Notify you local police department they will let you know if there are any cases pending against you, also so will the District Attorney's office. What a pain in the ??? that as consumers we have to put up with stupidity. Maybe someday someone will figure out how to stop all the bull.

- Don't worryThis company is a complete scam. They will harass and threaten when pushed for information From Kevin West who identified himself as a Senior Advisor he hung up. Was returning a call from Randy Snyder who called from 215-553-9474 saying he was a private courier and was going to be serving me papers today anytime between 3:00 and 5:30 and that he been instructed to go to my place of employment first and home second. (tell him to go ahead that you will have a police office called when he comes to make sure things are legimate, and you need the paperwork to forward to you lawyer) here it is 6:30 no visitors at work or home. Do call cashnet now at 1-888-801-9078 they will let you know if for any reason you might owe them money (they were very helpful) said that any unpaid loans are sent to Debt Management Partners (1-800-883-9067) tried to call them but only have reached voice mail. Don't be fooled into paying money for the scams, it will not be credited toward anything you may owe, and cannot be recovered.

- mary smiththey are just a collection agency that cannot back up their stuff, they wont come out to you, they dont even say the mini miranda to you, look up the laws for fdcpa, they claim they are an investment firm when they are just a completely illegal collection agency. and i need you all to know that the balances you might be paying are not what you owe, i looked on my credit report which they claimed they dont show on your credit, but mine did... it showed for $300 and they tried to say i owed over $700.... please... ALWAYS REQUEST DOCUMENTATION TO BE SENT TO YOU TO VALIDATE THE DEBT. dont be afraid of them, just record what you can and laugh about it later because there is not anything they can do. DO NOT PAY THEM. if anything just tell them its a wrong number and if you get one more call that you will file a complaint with the attorney general. they are mediated credit solutions, or in other words mediated crap...

- Angela GahanToday May 10th, 2012 I get a call from a guy saying he has papers he needs to serve me and he is in the area. But first there is a number I need to call and its the 888-959-1022 and he gives me this case number to use when I call. From what I have read its about CashNet because I haven't called that number yet. I did the last time this all started and they gave me the run around but said they were representing CashNet and when I went directly to CashNet I was told they don't do business like that. They have there own in house people to take care of this.
I know these people are trying to scare me but how do I get them to stop calling. I really wish I knew how they were getting this information and I doubt that even if you pay them CashNet never sees the money.- Caller: A guy saying he had paperwork for me.
- Thankful for your inputMy husband got the call at home from a courier, Maria Brown (sound familiar) and gave them my work number. He doesn't know. The did not tell me the debt collection statement and I worked at the collections debt at a bank for 2 years, so I know it. I called the 888-959-1022 number and the guy had to see his supervisor to work it out. Said it was check n go for $2000 in 2009 (sounding more familiar). I told him I had no money to give, was told they would bring it down to 400 but I need 20% down. I said I would call back after I spoke to my husband (I googled it and found this site). When I tried to get off the phone, they told me they close at 5pm eastern time which is in 2 hours. Im in california and its 11am. That was a stupid lie. I am debating whether to ask for something in writing or just let it go. I believe they did this to me 2 years ago as well and just stopped calling.
