Just received a call from Alvin from the Naperville Business Development office asking me when I was moving my business, and how many employees were moving.  Very odd.   Fake call.  He hung up when I asked him why he wanted to know certain things.

These guys are relentless! They claim to be calling from the State of CA asking if we are planning to relocate or if we have already found a new location. Don't say yes! I've been bombarded by phone calls from movers, and relocation companies ever since. Their call back number provided was 949-855-1836.

I receive these calls 5 times a week.  Missouri State of Business Development.  I am going to start answering yes we are moving....just to see what solicitations I receive after that.  Then I will know who hired them to do telemarketing.

- Real estate agents
- moving companies
- Call list creators

I mean these folks are not making calls just to make calls.  They are hired by someone to get a 'YES'.

I told them we were moving...we'll see what happens next, then she tried to get me to answer when, I wouldn't answer that she called multiple times to get the information

These people called, claiming to be from the business development services, wanting to know if we found a new place. When I reminded her that this was the second call today and to stop calling we are not moving, she proceeded to call back 6 times and hang up when we answered the phone. We are running a business here.

Guy with a foreign accent called saying he was from the State of California,  Office of Economic
Development.  Wanted to know if we received the paperwork yet?  And were we going to be moving?
Said I didn't know, call back tomorrow.  I smell a Rat!
When I called the number I got a voicemail asking me to leave a message.
Sounds like scammers everywhere!

Yup pretty much the same thing as everyone above except from "the State of Colorado".  My work has received this call so many times, that this time I tried to get them to answer questions before I answered.  The guy just hung up on me.  I tried calling the number back, but it was disconnected.

Received call from 889-777-1117 on my business line. No message. Thanks to a quick google search while the phone was still ringing, I found this website and so did not answer.
By the way, phone scammer's computers keep track when you pick up the phone for these annoying calls, and sell your number to more scammers. They make money (and you'll get more calls) even if you've never bought a single thing over the phone in your life.

If you tell them that you are moving, very shortly you will start receiving calls from many people wanting to sell you moving services, furniture, telephone systems and photocopiers for your new office.
I tried it once to see what would happen.
