    Hey, that means you viewed some paid content from their site, you wouldn't have to register, sign up or subscribe. It's pay per view service, i had the same 'problem' and called their helpline, helpful lady explained everything what happened and why i was charged. So yeah nothing happens without reason;)

    I have had 5 texts from 89300 and been charged £6.25. My O2 bill says its for interactive services received. I ran O2 and they confirmed it is from switchfire. They are refunding as a gesture
    of goodwill and blocking it. They also gave me the number for switchfire 0844 445 7707. I am pretty sure I know where it came from. My wife goes on a site tvlinks.au to watch tv shows and there are pop ups so I think it's come from there

    I had this problem. Text started around 6am this morning and I received 8 in 15 mins
    I contacted my network provider ( O2 ) and got through to a very unhelpful operator who said I must of subscribed to the 'premium' number and it was down to me to sort it out, I must admit I was all but pleading with him to do something but he said he couldn't. he did say that they would be able to check my account to see if I had sent a text to subscribe but not until tomorrow, in the end I just told him to suspend my account until tomorrow when I could prove what had happend.

    I was not happy with this so phoned back and got a different operator who was so helpfull
    he has
    * unblocked my phone
    * credited £5 to my account
    * said O2 will reclaim any further charges and recredit my account
    * blocked any further messages form ANY premium number
    * reported the number to the ombudsman

    The only down side to this is I wont be able to make calls to premium rate numbers, so no loss there then as I dont/wont make calls to this type of number

    It just goes to show it all depends which operator you get as to what happens - Thank you Ben & O2

    this must me something built into a website, Advertisement, or video juding from the postings on here, I have now lost confidence in my phone as a browser which is a shame as it is very useful at times.

She has text STOP to that number several times but they keep sending her the same messages. Have you got any advice on how to stop them sending messages and charging her?

    Hi all,

    I sent an 'online complaint form' to Phonepayplus last october 2011 and finally got a message today (almost 10 months) saying investigation remains on-going due to the complexities of this case, and will let me know the outcome.

    Please all, send an online complaint form to Phonepayplus about 'Peek A Boo TV Limited', link below.
    The more people complaint the better. hopefully it will stop it scamming more people.
