Said they were MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving). First a gentleman spoke, who goes through a spiel and then transfers you to woman who takes your CC number. They had the same last name? And when I said I wanted a mail out she got more insistent on getting a CC number.

Woman said she was calling for MADD and looking for a donation. I told her I didn't like making donations over the phone and prefer to go directly to the website. She asked me how much I would be willing to donate and said she could send me an email with a link. I told her I don't trust clicking on links in emails either and preferred to go directly to the website to make a donation. At this point she asked me again if I was willing to commit to making a donation, so I hung up on her. In hindsight, I think she may have been a scammer and was trying to get me to say "yes". She was very persistent.
