Just block the number....

Has been calling non-stop for about a week now. I never pick up.
I finally called back to see if it was an auto-dialer and got an answering machine for Optima Communications International. Checked them out on The Better Business Bureau and THEY ARE NOT AN ACCREDITED BUSINESS. I do not recommend anyone giving them and personal information including even your first or last name even though they ask you for that info to take you off their call list. They may not call you again but it is easier for them to resell your information to another company.

I've gotten a call from this number more than once.
I live near Toronto.
I get a different ringing sound for long distance numbers.  When I hear the different ring I don't answer as 98% are junk.  I have a physical answering machine, and if someone whom I know, were to speak I would pick up, otherwise I don't.  This number leaves do message.

caller has bad broken english asked for my husband said it was regarding his Presidents Choice Credit card which we dont have , i repeated this to him and he kepet saying same thing over then i said it asgain we dont have one he fumbled for words then said have a nice day maam and hung up! SCAM! 1-905-233-1597

I get that double ring from long distance phone calls. Since 99% are junk, I ignore them.  If it was anyone wanting to leave a message they would. Since I have a physical answering machine, I can monitor my incoming calls.  So, when no message is left, I knew it was a junk/spam call.  btw, if no one answers when you speak, then they may only be trying to gather "in service phone numbers", which means they will pass on your number to other spam callers.    A simple workaround solution is to ignore these long distance calls, and to check your messages, to see if by rare chance it was a real call.

I google the # also, it's from turkey apparently, keeps on calling me also

I've blocked it.

Pretent selling insurance from Sear or Canadian Tire, but its not since they know nothing about Sears, they just collect your information for the debt collector

Got a call from this number, when I answered, the person said "Hello?", then proceeded to breathe VERY heavily into the phone.  I simply put the phone down and let him/her continue breathing until the call ended.  Really annoying, but comical.

He said he was from that Optima place saying he lwas calling on behalf of PC mastercard. Wants to sell me personal insurance...touting the dollar amounts each injury would get me.  He would not send me any info via email or postmail.  He also wouldn't give me a number to call him back and insisted on calling me back when i had more time to go into it further!  Husband had a similar call recently but stating his bank provider.   I wont be giving them my info!!

This phone number keeps calling me without any message. Silence on the line.

Continuously calls, leaves no message

This is from a company called Optima Communication International. Says they do surveys for companies. I suspect they are a collection agency! They provide an option to be placed on their DNC list however they don't honour it!

These guys called me today.
They are Canadian Tire insurance company .

This number called my cellphone many times in the month of september 2017 alone. Hope you can make actions to this scam or whatsoever.

Somebody strange called me

When people are going to stop pick-up and answering unknown telephone calls, that "really bad thing" is going to stop!
