I received calls from this number tonight at

I called it back but I got a machine telling me that this line was full and it disconnected me.
I did not answer any of the calls and they did not leave a message on my machine
Who is this that is calling me???

They called 3 times within half an hour.  Call display comes up as unavailable, long distance.

I don't understand why 3 times, practically in a row.  Some companies use an automatic dialer to find out when you are home, and then a "live" person will call you during that time to try to sell you something.  I don't think this is the case here.

The "Do Not Call" list obviously does not work.  And it doesn't work for marketing calls that originate in the U.S. either.

I've gotten to the point where if I don't recognize the number or it says unavailable, I don't pick it up the phone.  Sometimes, when I'm ticked, I will pick up the phone and slam it back down again.

Just rec'd a call from 905-581-9653. Guys says he's calling from Bell sounds like a call centre in the background. Says I know you have a Bell home phone (which I don't!!!) and what other services do you have? I said if you are Bell you'd know that and hung up. I tried calling Bell to complain they are closed. I am calling my own provider tomorrow to find out if I can call block this #

Guessing this is not actually Bell but a complete scam being run from overseas and routing calls to look like they are from 905.

They call every few minutes. Middle of the night ... weekends ... they don't care. I have registered on the DO NOT CALL list and yet they continue to pester.

This is an outbound sales team contracted by bell canada they have called me as many as 5 times tonight..Christmas eve the 3rd time he asked to talk to my wife who just passed away when i told him he hung up with a laugh told me he would call me back .He did asked for my wife while the whole time i was asking for his supervisor I work in a call center this one is incrediable.

I was getting fed up with this number phoning 4 -6 times a day.
Finally, last time they phoned, I picked up and said, " Hello, you've been transfered to the Police Department." ...they hung up...
They never phoned back.

this tn# keep call me every 5 min all day in jan 12 2011 like crazy ,i do not answered it ,but i put my # in do no call list,hope stop if not i will call bell and scream at them

They call all the time. Never leave a message. When I pick up they hang up.

same bull...someone who says they are from Bell...with a heavy accent....I just hung up.

The display on the phone shows V0129050539002 then shows the 581.9653 number. Never seen this before but would assume it is being re-routed

They have called me 3 times within the last 2 minutes and called lastnight at 9:05pm. They are driving me mad, I answered once and noone was there but I could hear people talking in the background.

They have been calling for 3 months. Finally today I asked for a manager. They hung up and called back 2 more times. I called and filed 2 complaints with bell, I called the Better Business Bureau, and I called the Police and filed a harassment complaint!

I asked for a supervisor for 15 minutes while he spoke over me. I finally hung up and he called back. I asked for a supervisor, asked for an ID number or a Name and he asked me if I though he was a fool. I told him to F-off and filed a harassment complaint with the PD.

It is not bell.  When you call the number it is a magic Jack number.  Obviously bell would not call from that.  This is a SCAM beware.

Have called at least five times this afternoon on my work number.  No response, nothing.  Then once i didn't answer right off the bat and i could here voices in the background.  Probably a call centre of some sort but if they do not talk to you how do you know.  I can't believe there aren't better things for people to do.  I WOULD GO WITHOUT A PHONE OF ANY KIND BEFORE I USE A BELL PRODUCT OR SERVICE.  THEY PLAIN AND SIMPLE ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Its been 5 days now that I have been receiving calls from this number. Some guy calls claiming to work for Bell. He will call constantly even after you scream at him not to and will not answer to my husband. He is ignorant and rude and provides a different name each time he calls. He will not provide his number, place of employment, employee ID when asked and refuses to put his supervisor on the line. I have contacted the police and provided a statement, however I don't imagine they'll be able to do anything. I am FED UP! I have had to change my telephone number, thankfully Rogers did not charge me.

The Caller from the number is Bell, and i guess you COULD say its a prank call, but really its just some super annoying survey asking you if you are comfortable with the the company you're with etc etc. if they keep calling, they let it ring about 3-4 times before hanging up if you don't answer and they will call you back. The way i get it to stop for a while is answer, say hello, let them talk for a couple seconds, and hang up. usually they dont call back, and if they do it may be months later. Might not work for you, but its an option to try.
PS, dont stay on the phone too long when you answer, even if you say you are not interested in what they're selling, they will never shut up. so just hang up.

Continue to receive telemarketing calls after registering with the LIST.
