They are doing the same to us.  They call, name drop folks that use to work at our facility, faking that they used to supply us with certain products.  Luckily, I have been with the company 25+ years, and I know that we never used these guys.  BEWARE!!!!

To take the message for the employee he is looking for in our company, I asked for his name and company. Yes, he had given his "name" but when I asked for his company, he called me RUDE and told me if that was the right thing to treat a customer.

Same , He calling me a few time , friendly voice and asked me my address. saying giving free jacket. But Ididn't order and I am not sure what i have to pay for that. So I didn't gave my address and i asked his call back number but he gave me different number instead of i saw on my phone... be careful..

He calls often (weekly) asking for my maintenance manager by name.  When I say that he is not available by phone but will happily take a message and pass it on he gets very rude and hangs up on me.  Last year this company sent lights that we did not order an expected us to pay.  Was a hassle to return.  Is a scam. And he's not a nice person.

He’ll tell you that he’s not reachable for a call back when I ask to take a message because the maintenance manager is not available. After a week or so of almost daily rude calls from this person, I finally asked him for his name. He said Henry Blake (probably fake) and then when I asked what company he's working for, he asked why I making things so difficult for him to speak with the maintenance manager. I responded by asking why he was making it so difficult to give me his name and company he's working for. He hung up! The calls started again this morning however this time I just ignored the number.

He called to speak to our manager, "C".  After I transferred his call to "C" phone. "C" didn't pick up the call and  it went to "C" voice mail. He called me back very angry telling me he was tired of his calls going to C voice mail.
I remember speaking to his guy before.  Very rude!!!

Call is from Champion Commercial Products (or something like that).
Sales call starts by offering free stuff as their "monthly promotion".
Calls come about once a month to me. Asked them to e-mail me a line card or some pricing but they never did.
I have to tell them every time that we're not interested.
Unlike others here, all the calls are very polite and last under 2 minutes, just annoying as hell.
They never leave a voice mail.

They take no for an answer and keep you on the phone until they forcefully take your name down. Saying something about a promotion and sending you free jackets which I denied but even without my consent he went ahead and placed an order saying he will charge me for the box of lights and hung up. I called back and spoke to front desk saying I did not consent to that order and do not send me anything. Unbelievable.

Just had a call from this # 905-629-4849 asking for Maintenance for office; said he had received call from someone at our office. When I asked where he was calling from he said OPCA. When I asked what that stood for he said Ontario Professional Contractors Alliance. No such entity on google.

Guy with an accent just called our office in the hospital, wasn't transferred from switchboard, asking for Maintenance office, name dropped "Rick" which happens to be a guy that works here.  From reading the comments above, I think they call random numbers and name drop all the common men's names.  Like what maintenance dept didn't have a guy named Bob or Rick or Ed etc... he wanted a direct line, transferred to switchboard instead.  Switchboard transferred them to maintenance, call bounces back to switchboard when no one answers, won't leave a message for maintenance, insists on having them paged.  We don't order any products at this hospital anyway as everything comes from a bigger regional hospital... maintenance told them our hospital didn't want anything and finally got off the phone.

Called looking for person who takes care of maintenance for the property. No intro nothing.

Shaky, nervous voice calling our business, gets butt frustrated when we don't give out employee names readily to random solicitors. All in all, 10/10 very funny attempts at "business".

They called and name dropped the GM, and got mad when I asked what it was about. They insisted they always deal with him regarding supplies (he doesn't handle ordering) and refused to tell me exactly what they sell. Then he rudely said he was wasting his time and hung up.

scam caller, does not take no and is very rude. Do not say yes to any of his phone call will try to scam you out of money by shipping you products you do not want and billing you for it. will use voice recordings as his "proof" you ordered his crap. He just keeps calling and calling! dude go get a real job.

As above called and asked for the guy in maintenance, couldn't remember his name but he looks after maintenance on the unit. Hahahahahaha!  I said we don't have a maintenance department or any men. Which is true. Hung up. Blocked.

Received call, guy asks for my manager, speaks to him about lights we have used from them in the past which we haven't, says he would send him a "free jacket", asks for his favorite hockey team, claims that that is his favorite team as well, asks for my manager size and then his last name which my manager refused to give and the guy on the phone just laughed and that was the end of the call. I don't think we will be receiving a free jacket!!

Guy asked to speak to the manager out back, can't recall his name.  I said sorry we are on a do not call list.  He said do you even know what company I am calling from.  I replied no, you didn't identify yourself and I happen to know all the maintenance companies we deal with.  He said, and I quote..."you're not making any sense, WOMAN" and hung up.

Male voice asking to  speak to our maintenance manager out back..(we don't have one) I asked if i could take a msg.  No,he'll call back but cant remember the managers name - and he has it back in the office.. he's on the road,and just doing a followup call.   I asked who was calling..he said "Vinny from Champion".. i'm just returning his call, but i can't remember his name..."    I replied..NO sir,I believe you are cold calling, and we don't need your business.  Have a great day... hang up & BLOCKED
