Do anyone knows a man who lived in montreal and now lives in vancouver? I think it's he's GF that makes jokes...not a joke...

I live in Nipigon, Ontario and I just got a call from this # a minute ago and I said "hello" three times, then they hung up without saying a word.

I have had calls from this number on my work cell phone every day for the last month.  I often get a woman called "Megan" who has an Asian accent and is not helpful in getting me on the no-call list.  She said that I may get off the list in about a month after this registers in their automated system.  Nothing seems to work in getting them to stop calling me.  I am in Saskatchewan.  I asked the name of the company: is Pulse Telecom, based in Toronto Canada.  I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

The number belongs to a long distance service provider called Pulse Telecom.

Pulse Telecom is a company peddling long-distance service with support in your native language.  You can tell we are a reliable supplier by the quality of our non-stop telemarketing practices using the latest robot caller, and when we can, sometimes having a semi-literate "human" speak to you.  We use other phone numbers too (some which don't exist in the phone system).  You can complain all you want but we will keep phoning.  Nobody can stop us from becoming your long distance supplier so join up with us now to prevent future harassment.

The CRTC cannot stop us.  We will keep calling you relentlessly until you become our customer.  So stop being stubborn and whining on this site and join up with us.

Wow!  This is so helpful.  Did you happen to read this thread before posting your useless non-contribution?

They are calling my cell phone about 4 times a day- starting at 742 this morning...who do you contact to report them? Anybody Know? I am in Edmonton...its 742am here not 942...JERKS

I have received calls from this company everyday for the last 3 days despite my informing them that I do not wish to have any further contact with them.  They are a long distance provider.  I have informed them that I am very satified with Rogers and would not think of changing to their service.  They wont tell me their company name and they even hung up on me when I told them that they are harassing me!

Ok everyone, I have figured it out!!!! I just spent 40 min on the phone today making numerous calls to have my name removed from the list and I'm almost ready to file a lawsuit.  It's a long distance provider by the name of NECC Telecom.  They have call centres in the Philippines, Michigan and Australia, but are a Canadian based company locted in Toronto.  I have put my name on the "so not call list" months ago, so I should never have received a call.  After talking to them and telling them that I was not interested in their service...the calls continue everyday or every other day.  I get calls on weekends, weeknights but this morning at 9:00 am, they woke my up, they woke up my 1 yr old and I"ve had enough!  I now know the number off by heart and contacted them today for the 3rd time to ask for my name to be removed from their list.  I only wanted to speak to a manager or supervisor on duty and the agent made that impossible. they have now promised 4 times that the calls would stop, but they don't and now when I go to pick up the phone, they hang up after 2 or 3 rings!!! I have been told that if you added your name to the "do not call list", that you can contact them to let them know, and they will file legal action.  I will be contacting the "do not call list" people to have actions taken.  this has turned into harrasment!! we should all take action together!! This number belongs to an organization using the name Pulse Telecom.  The telephone number is from a location in or near Hamilton, Ont or some other community in that area code locality.

Legal advice to me is to place a complaint with the CRTC.  Also, start a call trace record for two weeks then make a complaint with the police of your choice.

A search with the Better Business Bureau shows that Pulse Telecom has, at leas, addresses in Wilton Manors, Florida; Troy, MI; Charlotte, NC; and again in Troy, MI - all USA addresses.  There seems to be no addresses in Canada.

However, their business profile indicates that they have partnerships with various other telecom companies, for example, Rogers, etc.

The Better Business Bureau rating for Pulse is "F".  The BBB results also shows no search results in Ontario for Pulse.
