Recieved a call around 12:30pm, male with thick East Indian accent stating he was from MicroSoft. Apparently my computer was showing I had viruses and he could tell this at his end. I heard about the scam so I played along with him for abit. He continued to ask me questions about my computer, directing me to perform certain tasks. I finally stopped listening to him and hung up. The male call back twice, finally leaving a message that "I will be sorry".

Yeah, not sure if it's exactly the same one as I've been getting but they tried to argue with me. First I got them to confirm that the error report was sent today, then I proceeded to inform them that the computer had actually been off all day so messages being sent today was impossible. They quickly tried to change the story but ultimately failed.

We have been receiving numberous call from 905-988-5265. When I called bell *69, this was the number given. When I tried to call was told the number is not in service, or, cannot be reached by this method etc. On line, I have since discovered that this is Rogers Communications solicitors.

I received a call at 11:15 in the evening from a man with a thick indian accent. He proceeded to tell me that my computer has a virus. Apparently my computer told his........he was short and arguementative. I disconnected. I had heard of this scam, perhaps the next call I will play along and find out what he really wants.

I got a call from this number tonight and stuoidly answered it.  (I was expecting a call and didn't look close)

It was Pep-Boys, asking me to rate my recent servive experience.  I did have recent tire service with them, so I believe it is them.  I hung right up of course and will never answer again.
