I just got the same call, and also an email from Radiant about a job opportunity at johnson & johnson, . These days I always google an unknown phone number and never answer the call before I know who called me. I blocked the number and replied to the email that I am no longer looking. Hope that works :-\

Received a call from the same number 908-279-8899. Was away from my phone so didn't answer, but they have called numerous times before this. They are a waste of time, and half the time I can't understand half of what the caller says. Based on other comments, I will continue to ignore the calls. If I block the number they will just call from another, so there's no point in blocking either.

got a call - did not answer it, no message left.  But then checked email and had one from a Sandeep Dammannagari, Radiant Systems - recruiter with the same number on the email.  Deleted both.

No.. that is not a scam. For submitting resumes in client portal they need to create security ID so for that they need DOB (Month & Date), Full Legal name, Last 4 digit SSN. Most of the people not aware of this so they are thinking that they are doing scam.. LOL...

This is a recruiter who gets your contact info from resumes on job boards. Like so many recruiters these days, they are relentless and often annoying.  eg: I was in shower yesterday and heard my phone ringing and when I got out a recruiter had called me 11 times -- in a row and thought nothing of it when I reached him. Many are Indian and  their accents can be difficult.

You are clearly involved with this company, and clearly posting these "false positive" responses on this website.  Lame.

I responded stating I was interested, however I had my suspicions that this might be a scam.  I was almost immediately contacted via phone by someone named "Farha Naaz" from the phone number in question.  She did not ask me for any personally identifiable information, however she did state that she would send me an email, and that I needed to reply to the email to "confirm" my interest so she could get me an interview.  She said the contract was with HP, however the address she provided was not a valid address in the city she stated.

I responded to the email she sent to me with a link to this thread - her response was that this was not a scam, and oddly, a new graphic was added to her email signature (along with a bit about confidentiality, etc).  The email address she used is fnaaz@radiants.com.

I've generally been under the opinion that if something looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, etc - it's probably a duck.

    This isn't a duck - it's a scam.

OK, I just got a call from them and no answer from their side so I checked my email and did have an email with a job prospect from them with standard questions that I have also received from US based employers that I have worked for in the past last 4 and MM/DD of birth. Once I replied to the email with updated resume and question answers I did receive a call back from the recruiter just confirming that I was interested and the rate was good for me, I did confirm so and he said that he was submitting for the job at that time.
