I also have received a bunch of these calls.  Asking if I want to change electric service.  I just blocked it on My Verizon website.  Hopefully will put an end to it.

Same here, they called, no message, and my caller ID says Electric Department. I never answer my land line, so I doubt I will find out who it is unless someone here knows. Thanks

I finally called back after having my home phone and mine and my wife's cell phones BOMBED by robocalls from this number for weeks.  I got the foreign person on the phone to tell me the company is "Powerchoice" but she refused to give me their location or any other information about them until I gave them my personal info (which I wouldn't).  She 'couldn't locate' a supervisor for me to yell at.   I gave her all my numbers to put on their do-not-call list.

This number calls me at least once a day. They say they are calling about lowering my rate for my Atlantic City Electric account. I do not have ACE.

BEEN GETTING MISSED CALLS SINCE FEB 21,2014 & NO MESSAGE

I get several calls a day from this number and use my "ignore" button accordingly!

ROBOCALLER Telemarketer.  They call my cell everyday. Try this: save as a contact (ie "Telemarketer") Take a picture to easily identify.  I wrote out "IGNORE" with bold Sharpie and used that as my "picture". Then select the cell phone contact setting to "always send to voice mail."  TADA!  
Add additional numbers to the same contact, as needed.
rinse, repeat.

this number has been calling me every day for the past week, and they called twice yesterday. No message left.

I have been getting calls from this number twice a day for the past week. If I don't answer or send it to voicemail, no message is left. If I answer no one is on the other end. I just get a beep and then it hangs up.

Caller played this message: "Your Atlantic City electric account is now eligible to receive a lower rate, press 0 to speak to a customer service representative, press 0 to connect."

I've received this call at least 4 times in the last week.  I reported this call at www.fcc.gov/complaints

Hey, do as I did. Each and every time this and others called my Do Not Call #, I filed an official complaint at the FCC....
www.fcc.gov/complaints. May not accomplish anything, but I did feel "better".

They call me either several times a day or every other day.  When you pick up you activate the message stating they are from AC Electric and that you are eligible for a discount.  I'm on the "Do Not Call List" and still get called.  They don't leave a message if you don't pickup.

I am on the do not call list and keeping getting calls from 9085831806. They are pitching electric for Atlantic City Electric and I do not have an account with that company

This number keeps calling my and my husband's cell phones.  We don't know who they are.

I get this number of my cell and home phone. It is a telemarketer for a power company (not even mine!!) telling me how they can save me $$$ on my monthly utility bills.

Said that I was eligible for a discount on my electric bill.  I havn't lived in NJ since August 2010. amazing

I too experienced the multiple harassing calls.  I was able to keep the caller on the line long enough to pretend that I was interested.  The California based company is calling from (908)583-1806.  I was able to get a call back number (877)818-2807.  I work for a forensics firm and advised that I was conducting a forensic investigating needing to know the legal name of their firm.  I was transferred multiple times and was told that the name of the company <this is a lie> AnsweringServiceCare.com.  AGAIN, THAT WAS A LIE!  I googled the fraudulent name and spoke with a lovely lady who reassured me that their calls NEVER default to voicemail even on holidays.  I called (877)818-2807 back from another number and asked to speak with "David" the caller from the previous day.  Turns out that it's not the company they say they are, David was on the other line and "Mary" said he would call me back. The name of the company is actually "Power Choice" and they are trying to steal your account information.  So . . . have at it!   report the number to fcc.gov
(877)818-2807.  Remember, California is two hours behind New Jersey.  Hope this helps!!!
