I did some research and found that the company who owns this number is  Digitcom Services (digitcom.net).  Through their website you can look up who's actually using the number and find their real information and call and ask to be taken off the call list.  Its been a week and no calls.

We have been getting several calls on my cell phone and the phone we keep for our young daughters to take with them when they go to visit their friends.  I finally got fed up and listened until the end of the message, and pushed the button to be connected to one of the people in on this scam.  A man answered after a few seconds and began asking for my personal information.  When I asked him for his name and the name of his company instead, he hung up on me. If they were a real company instead of a bunch of thieves, they would give their info.

Over the past three months I've recieved more than a dozen calls to my cell phone from what appears to be an automated dialer. After the third call, for each time this happened, I spoke to an operator and requested to be removed from their call list. Each time they would say 'You're removed", without ever appearing to do anything, and hang up on me.
Title 47, Chapter 5, Subchapter II, Part 1, Section 227 of the US code of Federal Regulations:
It shall be unlawful for any person within the United States, or any person outside the United States if the recipient is within the United States to make any call (other than a call made for emergency purposes or made with the prior express consent of the called party using any automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice to any telephone number assigned to a . . .cellular telephone service.

This company owns every number that has called me since last July with the auto warranty sales pitch. I've filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and I encourage you to do the same.

i just received a call and pressed 1 to speak to a person. she needed some info.. i drive a 1986 chevy malibu...sorry, that doesn't qualify, do you have any other vehicles....yes, a 95 nissan 240 (which i don't own either). then she got a fake name and fake zip code. i kept asking what her company was and a phone number. she said the sales person would tell me all of that. to make a long story short....i finally got transferred and the sales person told me the company was warranty america in arvada, co. then i told her that i don't have a car (which i do) and i don't understand why they keep calling me. she said to put my number on the national do not call list. i called warranty american and the nice lady said they are using their company information to commit a scam and they are investigating it. what i don't understand is....what is the actual scam? identity theft? getting money?

I have received a call from this number stating to lower my credit card interest.

When we picked up the phone, no one answered back.  I am thoroughly Annoyed, ticked off at robo calls.  You sign up for the Do Not Call Registry, you figure that means something, but these companies find loop holes.  I wish there was something we could do... Other than report it to the gov't.  They require so much info required.  I went to report a call, I had hung up, never took note of the person's name...didn't know the time of the call or frequency.  It was tedious and excessive.

I received this call at 1008 EST on 3/30/10, caller ID says Credit Services, and they claimed they could lower my interest rates. Stupid me, I gave them my credit card number for my VIsa, even though she claimed to have all of my information in front of her. They did not seem interested in my Mastercard, even though that card has a bigger balance. It became difficult to hear the woman and she said she will call me back. I quickly looked up their number and this website came up. I quickly called my bank and changed my credit card number and now have a new card number. Now they are calling me again @ 1043 from a different number (caller ID: Out of area, phone #: 1-850-387-0474). I told the woman that I already called my bank and had my credit card number changed and do not call me again.
