Received a call on Feb 23, 2010 from this number; I hope they are stopped and soon due to the efforts of TheWidowMaker. Didn't answer, then checked here. I wonder if it would have been about a car warranty or credit cards.

can you stop these calls     they want to rip us off

I am totally frustrated. These people call all the time,I have no idea how they got my phone number. They always call and leave no message . I did register to win concert tickets from a local radio station-and gave them my phone number.(So they could call me if I won the tickets). Hopefully the radio station is not part of the scam. Did anyone else register to win anything from the local radio station??? Maybe there is a connection or it could be a  coincidence.

Just got a call today from this number...it is Saturday at 9:15AM
I answered and they hung up on me.

Our cars are paid off, we have high credit score.  Do not know or care what they would want.

Thanks everyone for doing all you are doing to try to get these people stopped!

Law enforcement IS involved to shut this operation down.

Got a call from them today. It says "909-650-9121 Credit Services" on the caller ID. Did not pick up but they did leave a message my answering machine (no person, just music playing).

Got the call today... the music is the "Intel Inside" sound you used to hear on many computer commercials....... and appears to be a clip of the sound file ripped off from somewhere... Hey Intel, they're infringing on you!!!!

Received the call 3/2/2010 from this number.  I was not home to answer it but my voicemail did pick up the Pentium signiture tones they use for all of their commercials.  Very strange.
Kudos to TheWidowMaker for doing the background work on these scumbags and submitting it to the police.  Sometimes just complaining to the internet isn't enough.

This # came up on caller ID with "Credit Services" but no message left.  No idea who they.

I just received a call from that number, same thing just music.  Is it going to Stop

This number calls us once or twice a week offering to lower our credit card interest.  We are retirees with no credit card debt, so it has nothing to do with any credit card company.

AUTOMATED offer for a lower interest credit card. Identified as credit services on called id.

I too, got calls and hang ups.   This takes my time to answer and I really hate it.
I wonder if they are checking to see if anyone is home in order to "case the house" for a break-in.

Got a call a few hours ago, I don't answer calls from people I do not know, and they did not leave a message.  

Not sure if most people realize this but the ID on the phone can be 'spoofed'.  
Google 'caller id spoofing'.  

Apparently this in not illegal!

My guess is this is not a real number or the poor guy that has/had the number is quite upset.

If you feel that you have been a victim of Caller ID Spoofing you should do two things:

Contact the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) consumer hotline at 1-888-225-5322 or log on to their website to file a complaint.
Contact the Office of the Attorney General by calling 617-727-8400 or log on to their website to file a complaint.~

Automated attempt to scare me into a better credit plan or spoof my current card numbers.
I'm on the no call list so they shouldn't even be calling. I selected the option to speak with a person. They apologized but who knows if it was sincere or if they really did anything.

Call was about lowering interest rates on credit card, said to be representing Bank of America, Capitol One, Chase, etc
When I tried to get his company name he hung up.  Call back only to get a recording.  Took a bit for him to pick up originally, had a lot of background noise, clearly English was not his first language.

Heard a couple bars of music and then silence.
